Just finished "Dragon Age: The World of Thedas vol. 1". Quite a delicious nerdfest it was too! Currently reading Terry Pratchett's "Snuff". Pratchett is as hilarious and yet poignant as always. I'm also eagerly awaiting the latest Honor Harrington book, "Shadow of Freedom". I forgot about its release and so am languishing in the library holds queue. I'm also looking forward to the Honorverse Companion, which I have preordered, and "Jack Cloudie" (from the Steampunk Jackaelian series) by Stephen Hunt. I've gotten so tired of waiting for that to be published in the US in a physical format that I am importing a physical copy from the UK.
What are you reading?

Just finished I am Legend. Why couldn't Hollywood follow the book? It's so much better.

Going to start a reread of Slaughterhouse-Five in a couple of weeks after my exams are through.
Wish I could read it for the first time again though.

Has anyone read the Metro books? After the game I'm interested about the Dark Ones.

I think this is the eighth time, but I've lost count. Not really stopped reading them since I bought the first one a year and a half ago.

I just finished Metro 2033, and I thought it was okay. I must admit I thought it was a bit of a let down (I have a friend who thinks it's the best book EVAR), but it was an enjoyable enough read. Something I realized later, though, was that there are absolutely no female characters of any importance at all, in the entire book, which I found kind of... I don't know, strange.

That I agree with.
After finally finished Truman, I moved on to Shattered by Michael Robotham. It's a psychological thriller - the protagonist is a clincial psychologist/psych prof who chases down a rather nasty sociopath. Finished it quickly, so I'm reading The Life of Pi by Yann Martel atm.

Indeed, this is a theme I have found among most (not all) SF creator in the old Warsaw pact. The next book is better though, both gender wise and over all.

I have a deep fascination with George Orwell's 1984 I read it almost twice a week, so I just can't finish the Aurora and Red square yet.

Anyone recommend Neal Asher: Prador Moon? I need a Sci-fi series to get into. Something along the lines of Mass Effect or Human Revolution.
