The Last Apprentice: The Lure of the Dead
I started reading them alongside my son years ago since he was so enthused about the first one. He talked me into reading them.
I love seeing him light up when we talk about it.
Additionally, since he got me into reading his series, I got him into reading mine...The Dark Tower series.

I just finished Liesl Shurtliff's Rump and picked up Jasper Fforde's The Last Dragon Slayer. So far I like it better than The Eyre Affair.

Haven't got it yet, but tomorrow I'm picking this up from my local book store. 'Do Androids dream of Electric sheep' is my favourite novel, so I was recommended this. I'm interested so shall give it a go.

Orders from Berlin by Simon Tolkien - it's a mystery set during WWII that mixes in a bit of espionage this time (part of a series involving DI Trave, but this one takes place early in his career).
