Finally started on The Twelve by Justin Cronin after rereading The Passage. if you like a bit of sci-fi mixed in with vampires (totally non-glittery vampires who tear people to shreds), they're both worth reading.

Reading Lilith's Brood by Octavia E. Butler atm. It's the omnibus version with all three books in the trilogy - Dawn, Adulthood Rites, and Imago.

I'm currently reading The Great Gatsby. Relatively short at about 167 pages, but it's a satisfying read. A Catcher in the Rye is next, followed by Vanity Fair and a few others. Here's to the Jazz Age in all its Hedonistic glory. XD

I have to say, the introduction was pretty longwinded and felt more like a justification than an introduction so I was a bit weary (and I still don't know what those both dates (January 16th and 18th) are important (though I can dare a guess)), so I was a bit afraid I might have bought the complete set of books only to not like his writing style, but good graces that's not the case.
In fact, the first two chapters I just read are downright chilling.
Definately interesting.

Dayum, already half through the first book. Good thing there's four of them ...
Engaging read I guess.

And done with the first one. "Speaker Of The Dead" up next. If it keeps up with the first book's quality, I looking forward to it. I just hope it'll last a bit longer ... I don't want to buy a whole new series for next week.
