I just started the Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks, seems promising so far.

It's excellent, one of the best trilogies I've ever read. A bit sick and disgusting at times, but it makes up for it with excellence.

ASOIAF: A Dance With Dragons: Enjoyable so far, heavy on the pissing off boats, light on the dancing dragons.

I have to agree with both of you, it's one of those novels that once you pick it up you just can't put it down again.
Brent Weeks has definitely earned a spot on my favorite authors list.

Since the final book in The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant has finally been released, I'm currently going through that series. Just finished The Runes of the Earth and am now into Fatal Revenant.

Currently, I'm reading an Epic History of Misunderstandings, which is about the history of the U.S.'s relationship with Pakistan.
