Finally getting around to this slowly.

*snip*
It's cool.

But the use of the term 'the Game' is getting annoying.

Yes, we get it. But can you use other words that don't sound so showy?

Intrigues, for example, that's a good word.

(Yes I know it's an Orlesian term.)

Otherwise the prose is solid and it flows really well.

Especially if the delivery doesn't live up to its expectations. Then it just becomes extravagant in its meaning. Hence why I am always skeptical when BW delves into political intrigue of any level.

Most of the stuff can already be found in other EU materials(Books, comics) But I saw it for about $13 at my local book store so I figured why not. They also have one for Bounty Hunters and Jedi that I'll probably pick up too. The Sith and Jedi have a version that comes in a holocron!  :D

I also just finished:

Which is also a pretty good read. It's a nice mix of fiction and history. Not the best Delany has ever written but certainly not the worst.

Exactly, it can come off as really pretentious.

So far it's basically your GoT stuff, a power struggle, but nothing deeper than that.

Liked how Celene handled one affair via diplomacy.

But then went full retard in her handling of the Elven Rebellion.

Still working my way through this bit by bit.

I've always associated Star Wars with Christmas/winter for some odd reason, meant to replay Kotors this year, but decided to go with this.

First of the manifold trilogy. It tries to give to a solution for the Fermi paradox:

Given the age of the universe there should be a lot of life, but we see no evidence.

No engineering of stars, no signals, no alien contact. Where is everyone?

Its great so far.
