I finished Sharp Objects last night. And now on to:

Hm. Is there a reason why I can't post the image normally? Anyway, Dark Places by Gillian Flynn.

Follow-up to War of Kings.
Its about a bunch of hot chicks and dudes fighting other attractive chicks and dudes.
They got powers and sh*t. Tight, skimpy outfits here and there. Pretty awesome.

Last year I discovered Brandon Sanderson, and ended up reading all of his main novels. The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance were simply awesome... but now I have to wait until 2016 for the next one in the series.
After that I finally decided to make a start on Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Currently on the seventh and final book, and it's been a major reading investment, and also a rewarding one.

Interesting.
Michael Leggiere, at North Texas, has been publishing a series of books on the campaigns of 1813 and 1814 over the past few years. His first volume, on the winter of 1813-14 (basically from Hanau to La Rothière) was excellent and described a period that has historically been poorly treated by secondary literature. Two volumes on the 1813 campaign are in editing right now, and a biography of Blücher that is very heavy on operational and tactical detail came out earlier this year. (I posted about reading it several months ago.) And two more volumes on 1814 have been contracted and ought to come out in the next few years.
All of them are excellent, and I'd strongly recommend them if you're interested in the subject.

"This is one of my absolute favorites! Lewis is the bravest author I know, and very quotable too! However, the fedora that came with the Reddit Gold Edition was slightly damaged, much to my dismay. I recommend finding the book in an actual store instead of trying to order it (I wouldn't be surprised if the fundie mail carriers sabotaged mine on purpose)."

I almost cried of laughter when the cover quote came from "xXn05c0p3rXx"

It is one of those fast paced action suspense page turners, with a main character that is a cross between Sherlock Holmes and Punisher (which I guess is Robert Downey Junior's version of Sherlock Holmes?). This novel was fairly engaging and relentless (I read it in two days), until the conclusion where it became somewhat, er, butch(?) and ridiculous, but still entertaining. All in all an enjoyable read, even the bonus short story afterwards.
I read the first three (or was it four?) novels, then quit because I thought the story was meandering. Then some years later I picked up the final novel in a bookstore and read the last paragraph and epilogue. *Cough* If you get to the ending you have to tell me if it makes sense...
After that I finally decided to make a start on Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Currently on the seventh and final book, and it's been a major reading investment, and also a rewarding one.
The comic adaptations are quit nice.

I saw this in the airport. Sounded interesting I guess so purchased it on random. Glad i brought it. Would recommend.
I just finishef Steelheart which is awesome. Think of superheroes who are completely psychotic and sadistic who have taken over the world. Finish World war z which is also brilliant.
ive got Railsea, thus spoke zarathustra and Neuromancer to read.

An entertaining tale of Celene and Gaspard vying for power in the Game of Orlais, packed with intrigue, betrayals, plot twists, magic, lore, ancient ruins, and a couple of fights with big giant monsters. From only Inquisition, I had the impression of Gaspard as a charming drunk violent power-hungry buffoon. This book at least fleshed out the character and shows his more devious and conniving side.

The current estimate for the next book is between 2015 and 2017 I believe. I think you'll be able to go through the series again in plenty of time.

Oh dear, the last estimate I had was mid 2015 ... well it's not like it's wasted time, the series is good, though it would have been better if I could have continued in one fell swoop.

Finished The Dwarves series and have continued to the books about the Alfar. I'm currently reading part 2, The Legends of The Alfar: Crushing Hatred, but couldn't find a pic of the English cover, so here's the Dutch one:

Very enjoyable, staple fantasy like The Dwarves series but this time from the perspective of the "evil" race.
