While I appreciate the sentiment, what you're asking is "do you want to continue the character you're already emotionally invested in or opt for the unknown?" Since the unknown could be anything and has no associations (beyond abandoning the known) I think most people are going to see it as a net negative-- so it's not really a fair comparison unless you have some idea what the alternatives might actually end up being.



That said, there are definite positives and negatives on both sides. Poll away!
