Personally, in all of ME1 and ME2, I think the most attractive asari is - by far - the Councilor herself. There's just something appealing about her. Don't know what that is, but it's there.

Each to his own taste, of course. Personally, I find Samara beautiful, more like regal beauty than pure sexappeal.  and she has an interesting personality. 

Liara, on the other hand, was almost devoid of any sexuality. Cute, sure. But I don't really find her that interesting - which is odd, as the VA was great.   Eh....

The writers have left the necessary groundwork to include Shiala as a potential squadmate and love interest in ME3.
Shiala certainly has a unique and interesting background. She has knowledge of the reapers, has overcome indoctrination, possesses the Prothean cipher, an Asari commando, and was a follower of Liara’s mother Matriarch Benezia.
In ME2 Shiala is also experiencing lingering effects from her exposure to the Thorian and can coyly express romantic feelings towards Shepard.

I understand that this is all predicated on the fact that Shiala lives but that should be the power of some of the decisions we make, and if you dislike the outcome you can always play it again.

Plus, seeing Shepard cheat on his LI in every consecutive game with a female from the previous one - priceless! Tiberius Sheploo...

Guys, if they won't bring back the squadmates from ME2 because they can die, then Shiala won't be a squadmate in ME3.

If you get yourself killed in ME1, all galactic civilizations are doomed. Since they can die, It is logical we are going to play as the Reapers in ME3

ME 3 should have an extra 2 mission mode where you play as a cyborg enhanced Joker and because Shepard died you witness the doom of the galaxy.

Sounds weird, but the outfits for Liara and Samara ruined it for me.



Liara is dressed in this shapeless suit that looks like something Dr. Frankenstein would wear. I just found it unflattering and the fact it's worn by a lot of NPCs makes it worse.



Samara's outfit is bad in the opposite way. Overly gratuitous cleavage and high heels made it impossible for me to ever take her seriously. Miranda's outfit was already pushing it but with Samara's... all I could do was facepalm. At least Miranda can make the argument that she's a Cerberus intelligence agent/high level officer so she usually wouldn't be on the frontline all the time. As an intelligence agent, her femme fatale look might even be an asset.

In Samara's case though, Samara is supposed to be a kind of asari super-commando. She's always in combat and always fighting on her own. I never got the impression seduction was part of the job description for justicars.

Liara looked better in ME1 than in ME2.



Shiala looked WAY better in ME1 than in ME2.



But Samara/Morinth are both pretty hot. Their model is beautiful, and the first thing I thought of when I saw Samara and had to describe her looks was "Traditional African features" with the jaw and eyes.



Was glad they put that in game.



So I guess it depends on when these asari debut. Hell, all 4 aforementioned asari might look less than stellar in ME3 while the new asari in the game look amazing.



One of the best asari I've ever seen? The Asari Councillor. Compared to Sha'ira, who I thought was unattractive.
