I don't care anymore. I DO NOT want anymore weapons or armor. I DO NOT use the extras I already have. And it's gonna be another weapons/armor pack. Again. I'm hoping BioWare has something, anything, to announce at E3 in a few weeks. And by something, I mean the expansion pack ME2 deserves. Expansion pack, as in longer than a half hour. I'm just sick of all the micro trash.
Would love an expansion. I'll bet money that is not what we get. Calling it now: another story dlc that is about an hour long, no more. Well, maybe some designer jeans for Miranda. I can see them including that.

Dude I'm calling it right here ok its gonna be a new mission set, see stay with me now ok?
Shep is gonna be asleep and have a dream that he is talking to the prothean AI Vigil who downloaded information into sheps brain on how to make teh uber SECKS Wormhole weapons! But Saren used his reaper upgrades to download a neural clone of himself into sheps brain, and when shep killed TerminReaper, Harbinger sensed the prothean code and the reaper code from saren in sheps brain and activaited it to aquire the prothean information.
So now shep has to figure out the "ancient" wormhole weapons while ridding himself of invisiSaren whom he calls Harvey. While at the same time dealing with a new love intrest in the form of a space marine voiced by Claudia Black named Nus Nryea from a race of 99.9% human aliens who try to keep the peace. Oh and they get Qualta Blades too
you know why? because claudia black is Yummi

Funny you mentioned that, she was on NCIS this week. She was a biker and had the Aethyta voice going on.

You realize its probably just going to be just one of the two things below:
-Alternate Appearance Pack 2: Probably a ’70’s theme this time.
Jacob- http://www.fabgere.com/live/images/mfg1.gif
Miranda- http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_BAGj1f4UomM/R_Z65C4XxJI/AAAAAAAAAQQ/iHJVmefgmLw/s400/sfd+gogo+multi.jpg
And Modin will have Salarian armor.
-Preorder Exclusive Pack 2
The Terminus Armor with 2 more N7 armor pieces (probably more helmets).
sorry, most of us suffering from http://en.wikipedia....ishful_thinking
I do wish they would release the rest of the Alternate Appearance Packs at the least, as well as the rest of the preorder items exclusive packs. Get them out of the way instead of wasting our time with “big announcements” that typically are major letdowns.
Its like the developers cant stay focused on one project at a time.
“Should we do another alternate appearance pack next?”
“Hey, instead of that lets do something different and come back to those whenever we get back to it.”
“Ok, good idea.”

I don't think we're going to get an expansion just yet. They said DLC, and though you could have bought the expansion for Dragon Age on XBL for 3200 MS points, that wasn't DLC.
I'm thinking something along the lines of Kasumi or Firewalker... or Liara.
Hopefully Liara. Beggingly Liara. Please let it be Liara!

No.....for the love of all that is Holy do not do Liara yet. There are things that are much higher on my list of DLC items. Eventually, I'd like the whole Shadow Broker DLC thing (...could care less about Liara...sorry!). As long as it's not more weapons/armor or Firewalker stuff, I really don't care. I wouldn't mind other missions that were about the other members of your crew, for example. But as for the whole Shadow Broker/Liara thing, I can wait on that. I've got other things on my "wishful thinking" list, and anything that involves Liara is....near the bottom.

I've never gotten this trend in recent games to play after the credits roll. After the main quest is done, I kinda lose the incentive to continue. I guess it's why I've never really understood why people thought it was so cool in Oblivion and Fallout 3 (with Broken Steel).
The thing with Oblivion was that you can do the main storyline quest at any time you chose to do so. I personally did it first, because I know that if you wait, it becomes really insanely difficult if you level up too much. But, there are so many quests, you can choose the order to do them in; it's a non-linear game.
As for Fallout 3, people got spoiled by Oblivion and didn't like having a level cap so low. Plus, like with Oblivion, the story line is non-linear, meaning you can just forget the main story and do whatever, or just do the main quest line and then be done forever with it. The reason though they added Broken Steel is because players (myself included) weren't happy with a level 20 cap. Another reason is because many players weren't crazy with how it ended.
And it's always neat to see how the world is after you managed to "right the wrong". It makes some people feel like that universe is more....alive...I don't know how to explain it any better than that, sorry.

Uhhh, because those games you mentioned are structured around exploration. Game experience isn't contained within a narrative unless you want to do a guild quest line.
Or more simply, gamers are just greedy. We like the novelty of finding out something new about a game (without the hassle of character generations) without having to replay a game's tedious parts.

Lol, they even hype the announcements...
Yeah, dude, seriously. Tell them to just announce the stinking thing. Not an announcement of a fricking announcement.
The only thing I liked about Pinnacle Station is they just *bam* released it. No torture. They didn't even announce it, other than releasing the achievements.

What the hell are you talking about?! Pinnacle Station was the biggest damn DLC fubar ever! There was months and months of skirting around the issue, vague hints at its existence, a lack of basic feedback on key issues, a false announcement announcement, blatant lies about its significance, etc.

Didn't you catch that I said "the only thing I liked about it"? Pinnacle Station is the thing I keep until last before I head toward Virmire, and I do it just so I can get a perfect playthrough, because I just have to muster the urge to play the stinking thing. Even then I bust it down to Casual so I can get it through quickly; it's almost torture.
They didn't even bother to tell us "tomorrow PS will be released" , they just released it. The only hint we got of it is an announcement of the achievements. There was no formal announcement.
(I was here in the old forums when that whole snafu happened, I remember the 100+ pages of wall of text of people complaining of the DLC and lack of it. Good times.)
So, if they just released it to us, it would be less torture.
