Still no patches? Also you guys aren't even going to fix any awakening bugs either?
According to BW, the game breaking bugs are important... as if the corrupted saves are not game breaking, not to mention the dex bug which is not a game breaker but defect from the original product...
In terms of buying a car, BW sold a car that can speed up to 100 mph (according to the publicity and user manual), but in reality it does speed up to 30 mph (dex bug),which is not such an issue because you can still drive the car. But there is a problem when you fill up the petrol tank, the car would not start (corrupted saves)... you've got to wait 24 hrs until you can start the engine... again the car is able to move... none of the above problems are considered serious because the bloody car still can move!... unless the car explodes, that would be real problem and it is considered a game breaking bug (the car is totally broken into pieces or in plain terms, the game is not able to play or your xbox explodes because of DAO).
If you are annoyed and upset, how is that? the bloody car is able to move, isn't it? that's what you paid for... what are you whining about, sorry if you didn't read the small print, you accepted the car as-is, about how fast you can go?, that is your problem, who wants to speed up 100 mph, anyway?... there are more important problems, what about if your car explode?, but you know what?, we are working on that, to prevent that you car could explode... but do not worry, you can still drive the car... in the meantime, take this brochure of the 2011 model...

So I'm a little confused here. There still is no fix for DA:O and its been out for nearly seven months?
They are rushing out ME3 and DA2 not to mention the star wars MMO, I honestly doubt there is much in the way of resources being put into fixing this game after this long. Seems all the money goes into dlc, which would be fine if the major issues still present since day one had been addressed. This game really died for me after losing over 240 hours from save corruption, not to mention I've been waiting almost seven months to make a pure archer....

Whatever happened to taking pride in one's work?
Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"?
I know that sounds old-fashioned but those are still good solid business ethics in my book.

I'm glad to see manners are completely optional on these forums
So are real fixes, or any solid info about them for this game sadly.

This one always bugs me. Alot of times the customer is not right. People use this line as an excuse to be total douches. I am in no way defending Bioware and their EA master. I seriously doubt that Xbox gamers will ever get a meaningful patch for this game. But the "customer is always right" line always amuses me. Just last week I saw some fat soccer mom chewing out the staff at Harveys for 10 minutes making a complete A double S out of herself.

The saying "the customer is always right" is an old retail slogan that was not intended to be taken literally. It's original intention was to reflect a companys willingness to be seen as putting the customer first and to make them feel special. And no, I do not feel it should be used as an excuse to be a total douche. But then I always try to treat people in the manner in which I wish to be treated ~ not everyone thinks that way.

The customer can be right or wrong, but you cannot say this to a customer, especially when you have the customer's money in your pocket... sorry but that trespass any decency or manner....

Ugh. Regarding fixing the bugs in their game, Stanley Woo wrote "It is a favour. We are under no obligation to provide post-release patches. I believe the EULA for most, if not all games states something to the effect of the product being released "as-is" and the software having no warranty in and of itself. I seem to remember reading that, so please correct me if I'm wrong. Any warranty included in game purchases relates directly to the physical media on which the game is printed."
If I said that to a customer regarding a defective product from my company, I'd be fired. Stanley Woo deserves no better.
They think fixing their broken product is a "favor" to their customers? No wonder they take such a PR beating on these forums. I'd also bet a good lawyer could shred that EULA in a class-action suit if they hid behind it.

With dex not working as it should a dex based rogue is useless, and with dex not being added to bows a pure archer is useless, while not technically "game breaking" one rogue build, and one warrior or rogue build (pure archer) are completely useless. The fact that this was addressed in the 1.02 patch that we never even saw on consoles just adds to the frustration, especially when it was stated in the 1.03 info that previous fixes would come with 1.03.
Sadly, for every one of us that is unhappy and wanting more support for this game, there are ten others who will mindlessly grab every little piece of dlc and defend them to the death against people who have legit complaints.

I doubt that this is the patch to which they were referring when they said bugs were being worked on.
