Reinstall Visual C 2005:

P. S. I hope you realize that the X1600 Pro, if that's what you have, is a Minimum Only class now (it was not even solidly into the middle of its intended Mainline class when it was new. This only becomes pertinent after you get Visual C sorted out, of course.) The X1600 XT, on the other hand, may be able to run in this game with medium textures.

You right click and run as administrator? Seriously: there's nothing else to it.

Do NOT copy msvcr80, msvcp80 or msvcm80 to system32 - doing this will cause system instability.
Check if you are running the latest version of .Net framework. Sometimes updating .Net framework resolves msvcr80.dll errors.
If this doesn't work you should seek support on the Microsoft forums. Although you are seeing this problem when you try to start DA, its not a DA problem.
