It sounds awesome and story driven but I am concerned about the reward. They said not to expect new weapons and characters which is all fine and well since our party is full at 12 members and there can still be worthwhile rewards other than weapons......but does that exclude armors and research upgrades too?

My first Kasumi's playthrough lasted 2 hours and a half in Hard difficulty...

...OK, I took my sweet time and enjoyed every bit of it, but you guys really love speedrunning.



Bring it on but I would love a real expansion, these minikamasutras are not my idea of unforgettable romance.

OK BioWare, I am content. Finally, something cool... and wow, what a deal! 7 bucks for a 2-hour DLC. I paid that much for Kasumi and she was maybe an hour. Good show!

has revealed the next significant paid add-on for Mass Effect 2. It's
called Overlord and will be available in June for 560 Microsoft Points
(£4.80/€6.70).

Overlord presents a storied mission based on a
hub planet, according to IncGamers. The new Hammerhead tank will
transport you from mission to mission. There are no new weapons and no
new characters, just the story of an evil AI ordering robots around.

The content will apparently last around two-and-a-half hours.

sounds like from mass effect ascension...... if there gona use the books as dlc i love the idea and whats the chance of gillian making her way into a dlc story?

It looks very cool, and the story sounds interesting. Somewhat similar to the Luna mission in ME1 but more thoroughly thought out in terms of story, and game play. The use of the HH sounds pretty sweet, along with the on foot combat. It's a little disappointing that there's no loot as a reward, but if we get a decent amount of game play and can tear it up in HH on these worlds in larger areas that would be a good compromise to loot IMHO.



Looks like a mission just begging for the Arc Projector to be unleashed on those synthetic bastards! BOOYAH!

I really like the references he makes to the ''horror'' aspects.  I don't expect it to be Res Evil or Silent Hill, but it does sound grittier/darker which could be a lot of fun and change of pace from other missions.

I find all of this very positive and encouraging. He said a lot of things in that interview that I wanted to hear. As for the new stuff, the horror aspect, and being trapped in a world created by a VI, sounds very interesting. Very pleased with this announcement.

The way Casey said it, it sounded like this content was originally meant to be lighter content but turned into something longer and better. Pretty cool.
