Enemy continue fighting after execution

Is there a way to achieve this?

Have an enemy continue fighting after being beheaded or inflicted with some other execution? Would I have to make a new creature using that wounded model, or can I somehow keep the wounded-look and have the enemy keep fighting? 

Edit: If you don't understand what I'm thinking. Imagine the black knight in monthy python.

The new creature approach seems viable. I'm playing around with something similar but haven't gone beyond proof-of-concept yet.

You could also try setting the enemy's No Permanent Death flag to true in the creature editor, and then using ResurrectCreature to bring it back.
