the description of the DLC leads me to believe it's about this, and maybe the Illusive Man uses the words VI to keep Shep from realizing it's actually Reaper AI.

however being the book takes place after ME 2 it leads me to believe that the man in this mission really is implanted with a VI or maybe an AI (just not a Reapers) and is a precursor to the tests done on Paul Grayson

To me i'd like to have the gun people may have missed, armor missed again and atleast a new team member along with 5 new missions. That would be worth atleast 7 bucks. I see this worth 4 bucks

Sounds way better than Stolen Memory (which I didn't buy). I'll most likely be picking this one up if it's at least 2-3 hours of new content.

Yes. 

On topic, has Bioware said anything about teammates having actual dialog this time around? Having only Shepard talk (as the norm with BW DLC)  kinda defeats the purpose of bringing the crew with you to a certain point.

I would much rather have a few incredibly detailed and immersive story DLC's than many bite-size ones personally.

This doesn't seem very compelling.

Sounds like a generic combat romp with a horde of voiceless and faceless enemies and one "boss" who probably has like 5 lines. I can get that in any other level of ME2. Seems like expensive busy-work, this.

They should include the equaliser pack when u buy the Overlord back...that would be gr8 seeing as the former should have been free anyway and would defffffo make the overlord pack worth the money

here is an idea for reword, After kill/Deleting the Overload, Shepard can Lean/Download how to use a Gun or skill that his/her class doesn't Learn, Its just an Idea i had, and am just putting it out there for other people to Agree or Disagree with it

I have my doubts and fears...Reading the description I get the feeling "I heard it all before" - and can predict story possibilities ... I REALLY want to be wrong here.

Dunno if I'll buy it, I'll wait for some more info/reviews that's for sure.

If this mission turns out like I expect, I had enough of this kind of "story driven" (shooter driven) gameplay during the main plot and it bored me to tears.



Ill wait for some actual story driven content, or if there isnt going to be any more from now on, and Mass Effect is going to continue to be a mediocre Gears of War wannabee first and foremost from now on, Ill not bother in future.



Folks wanted "story driven", so a mission is announced where it looks like 95% of it will be gunning down robotic hordes.
