Is overlord the same VI as used in mass effect 1 on luna (earth's moon) ?
I highly doubt that. This VI is some sort of fuse between a human and geth technology. Besides, Shepard took out the VI on Luna, so why would it be back?

Did they announce a release date then? They've said it's coming in June, but not when in June.Szabo-Krajnyak Sandor wrote...
It's more than 2 weeks before the release. What do you think, any chance we get Alternate Appearance Pack 2 before it?

No they did not yet. I just don't think we'll get it on 1st June. Maybe the week next.
BTW, did you notice it, that we get every DLC on a tuesday?

Yeah, I did. Bioware sure loves his tuesdays. And I got the feeling we probably get it only somewhere late in June. After the 20th or something.Szabo-Krajnyak Sandor wrote...

I really hope you're wrong. Or that we'll get a small pack before it. Then it's ok

May in the dlc we can possibly bring Legion along and have some interesting dialogue options. Just a theory.

After you kill the lunar AI, it sends out a binary.
It translates to HELP.
Doubt this DLC has anythign to do with that though...would be nice.

I actually see where Pra is coming from though. If they were to include anything *significant* to the plots established in ME2, anyone who doesn't buy DLC and only buys retail copies of things is going to be left out completely.
Zaeed and Kasumi aren't a problem (and neither is Overlord presumably) because their plotlines are self-contained. Firewalker isn't a problem because it's self-contained and isn't much of a plotline anyway, hehe.
fully agree. DLC shouldn't add something too significant. its like an extra fun.

I doubt it. In each DLC we had, there was a severe lack of squadmate voiceovers, I think in Firewalker a squadmate said something when the complex within the volcano was about to explode, also when you completed an objective but that's it.
I hope I'm proven wrong. :innocent:

How is it any different with Zaeed and Kasumi if they are going to be in ME3? Assuming you are correct, and they are not going to be in ME3 however:
You're not telling me its difficult to write a self contained plot for any character are you? I could give you several dozen off the top of my head.
Firewalker isn't a problem because it's self-contained and isn't much of a plotline anyway, hehe.
Your tone indicates you think that is a good thing or at least a satisfactory DLC? If so we have massively different expectations from a proven company like Bioware.

What we find fun is vastly different then, and the reason I disagree strongly with you. I enjoy content that adds depth or interesting stories, not pointless fluff.

It is. The Lunar VI was called Hannibal. If you're hostile to EDI (picking "AIs are dangerous"), then Miranda attempts to smooth things over, telling EDI that Shepard's mistrust of AIs stems from the incident "the Hannibal program" on Luna. Once you befriend EDI, then she tells you that Hannibal was an attempt to create a controllable AI.
IMHO, I think this was what Keiji found out. That the Alliance, not Cerberus, was doing illegal research on Luna, they deliberately sabotaged Hannibal in an attempt to make it sentient.
So, yeah, Overlord is definitely something different.
