I you cant wait for this DLC, I suggest you re-install Fallout 3 again, that way, when you finish it off again around July, new DLCs will be announce and you will enjoy ME2 mora than now (I finished the game 3 times, and you know, I am kind of sick, I dont think that every new DLC is an excuse to re play the game...)

Fair enough.

Bioware is now monitoring you and will release Overlord moments before you leave your home country, thus meeting your request conditions.

Man, you're right. Finally someone who understands the world revolves around me!
Nothing worse then a nerd on holiday pining over a dlc its missing

Ive done fallout to death, and THEN they released mothership zeta, so i have that to do but ... meh. But this is true, bethesda should pull its finger out n release some more shiznit for when i grow weary of bioware stuff

I think you miss the point of Rive Caedo's reply.  You stated that Bioware is not to release the DLC while you are in Turkey.  What you failed to see is that your sentence structure allows for them to release the DLC right before you leave for Turkey.  What you should had said was "Bioware please either release the DLC prior to me leaving for my vacation in Turkey (this release is conditioned upon the fact that I will have sufficient time to complete the DLC).  However, if I will not have sufficient time to complete the DLC, then release the DLC after I return from my trip to Turkey."

To quote Hank Hill: "Do you want it done fast or do you want it done right?"

So waiting until 06/29 won't kill anyone. 06/15 and 06/22 are also viable possibilities. If it were going to be released on 06/08, they probably would've announced that by now.

I doubt it will be the 15th during E3. After E3 is really the only logical choice.

Yeah...a trailer at E3.

SO, that means it should release on the 29th. Technically June, but c'mon, you do this type of thing to someone you hate. If they said late june-early july, then that would have been great.

....raspberries

Ya the week of or the week after E3 would be the most realistic.

I hope they announced the all-rumored Expansion Pack at E3.  :innocent:

Will Overlord foreshadow anything towards ME3?

Or is this just expanding the possibilities of the ME universe?

I am asking because, beyond just entertainment and enjoyment, usually a story driven DLC would relate to the next adventure in the saga.

The new book coming out is about the illusive douche implanting reaper tech in another douche......overlord is about a douche implanting geth tech in his douche brother.......SO, yeah, maybe slightly, but somewhat.

Or not, who knows.

I don't mind buying Bioware DLC, even the crappy stuff. This is because I've paid more for less in the past, and money from the DLC's encourages more DLC and goes towards Bioware continuing to create excellent games.

For people like me that don't really follow E3 but occasionally check the Website, June release coupled with "Coming Soon*" is sorta annoying. I don't give a crap about E3, most game journalist will tell you all it does is dry up game news for about three and a half months before E3 and about 1 month after as companies try to hold out on info and cram it into E3 spectacular super duper mega news.

Its June were all expecting it, you could at least announce mid or late as early is sorta going by real fast. I cant even imagine what the point of waiting till E3 for a trailer would be, as the only people probably interested are people who own the game and a trailer on the site will do just as good or better since not everyone who owns the game will see the E3 trailer if that is what they are waiting on.

And the DLC said comming soon last month, learn what soon means.

Well, also DLC encourages companies to release more games uncomplete just to keep getting money with 1 hour DLCs instead of releasing for free, or at least all together on a same expansion pack

Obviously the DLC release is subject to Microsoft approval, and they've learned from DAO DLC not to make any statements before the DLC has cleared approvals (DAO having the extra fun of having to go through Sony approvals on the third platform, as well). After that it's basically the next tuesday (and I believe that's more linked to when the Microsoft x360 routinely gets updated than any tuesday fetish on Bio's part).

I guess E3 COULD result in a delay, but might just as well be a good launch opportunity.

i wonder if the 'story' will be 'driven' by datapads and voice logs again, like the minor missions and DLCs.
