urgh this DLC is just gonna be another attempt to coax a further $7 off people.

Half of us will buy it, and the rest will just pirate it

Ya Heaven forbid that we pay Bioware for all there hard work to provide us with entertainment. <Sarcasm>

I will buy it also, just out of respect for BioWare and the damn good games they make. But that doesn't change the fact that they can't seem to make good quality dlc. ME1 dlc was a disaster, Dragon Age dlc, even though there was an actual expansion, it was preety mediocre. And ME2 dlc so far has been undewhelming also. Just a bunch of crappy micro dlc, one half baked demo (Hammerhead) and Zaeed&Kasumi seemed like they should have been included in the original game from the start.

I sincerely hope they make something worthwhile with the Overlord. If not, well there is a bunch of other good games I will be spending my time with.

Yes please, keep supporting DLCs, lets pay for a game around 120 euros (the original game, +++++the dlcs). Do you think that the donwloadable content we be always ready for you to donwload? wait a few years, EA will close the game server, and all the money you payed for the DLCs will be lost.  Instead of supporting the physical format game, keep supporting this "DLCs", 1 hour = 5 bucks, and when they stop selling it, say good bye to the donwloadable content forever. I was glad that Bioware started to give us free dlcs like many other companies use to do 2 years ago, but since Katsumi, we are back to this evil system. Ask youselfs this question, how much money are you ready to spend on DLCs? 20, 50, 100 euros or even more?

I'm willing to spend anything if it has to do with Mass Effect as long as EA does not **** up this game as they have done with so many other games like Red Alert 3 or C&C4

I wonder i if BIo is going to fill the gap to the sequel with dlcs....how many are there going to be? because depending on the number of dlc's....wouldn't it be better to have an expansion???

Do not know, I am very skeptical whether or not they are just wanting to fill their pockets...from nobody in the galaxy wanting to help you to a united front in ME3 all through a couple of dlc's???

you got it man, thats the key of this. Instead of releasing an expansion for 20-30 euros, makes more profit to give DLCs, this way they dont even have to pay the game stores to sell their games, but also is better for them to get 5 euros/hour

I would believe it if the stories were dirrectly linked together for the DLCs

EA doesn't pay the stores to sell their games, dummy.

And if you think that EA using a fair business strategy for their dlc justifies pirating it, well...

If you can't afford to pay seven bucks for DLC then you should get a better job. If you can't get a better job then you should stop playing video games and gain some skills and experience so you can get a better job.

And as for saying that the DLC will not be available if EA close their servers: Bioware will obviously release a patch that enables access to the DLC offline.

Also, you don't have to buy it if you don't want. Noone is forcing you.

@Alendor1989: Evil system? That makes me laugh. You need to take a look at the world around you before making a statement such as this.

The DLC system is a good system when implemented properly, spacing expansions, adding good new content and story, and expanding the game

Look how successful Fallout 3's DLC expansions were and spaced perfectly from one another

I like DLC as long as it is priced fairly and replayable and very interested in seeing how the bridge the ME2-ME3 gap with DLC and possibly expansions
