Well, my guess is its not gonna be today... its past 9am Bioware time and usually something wouldve been said by now.. so you never know. if the EA conference is on the tuesday, Bioware may announce it there and have it up and running for when the conference ends......

Actually Microsoft tends to unload a myriad of crap on E3 week. I wouldn't be surprised if EA decided to release Overlord to coincide with an announcement.

They probably wouldn't want it drowned out since they are probably heavily focusing on TOR and Dragon Age 2 (rumored).  I think it will be more likely that they will give us a new costumes pack or somthing like that.

hmmm, more costumes... do i WANT more costumes?? i would much rather have something substantial... especially after the disappointment of the latest map pack for Bad Company 2..... please dont disappoint me too Bioware.............

They will release the content when they will make the most money off of it.  It is probably already finished and gone through Bioware and Mircosoft QA.  If they release it at E3 it will be drowned out by the other announcements made at E3.  Just relax and wait... it will come when they are ready to give it to us.

My "wishful thinking" would be if they would re-release some more of the old DLC (i.e. Incisor Sniper Rifle, Terminus Assault Armor, Blackstorm Projector) that some of us may not have gotten the first time around.

Of course, I'll go for it. Anything to allow more ME2 play but...didn't we deal with the "Geth issue" in ME2 (one way or another by wiping them out OR rehabilitating them and adding them to the non-heretic Geth on the Legion loyalty mission)?

The most money off of it, you mean as soon as posibul to avoid as many people as posibul loseing interest in ME2 to their other games and consequently ME2 DLC?

Bottem line is you dont make an add for a product then relese it if the product doesnt have a shelf life like DLC.

With movies they are only in theaters for so long so you have to advertise ahead of time, but with a product that goes on the market and stays there like soda for example, you just relese it so people can buy it if they see it and you run an add for it if you think you it will make you more money. Take for example fast food chains, they dont advertise 3 months in advance "Hey come try our tripel bacon chicken breast with double cheese, coming to a McBacon King near you next month" they dont do that. DLC should be the same way, just relese it and then advertise also.

Actually it would make a lot of sense for them to release during E3 as peoples attention will be on the company during that week and if there is any news related to the Mass Effect universe then releasing a new DLC pack might get them to replay the game.

Nope. no new weapons, mods, armor or anything...... just levels and gameplay/ 2 hours worth.... there or thereabouts anyway, depends how awesome you are i suppose

A couple of articles stated that we might get a new crewmember too.  (Not a squadmate).  My bet is a person in the docking bay.

You didn't kill/rewrite all the heretics. Only the ones who were connected to the heretics' main network were affected.

You didn't kill/rewrite all the heretics. Only the ones who were connected to the heretics' main network were affected.

And the ones that weren't there would be rewritten eventually when they contacted the base again. While if destroyed the scattered geth forces would be too weak to be a threat. So unfortunately for the geth you may meet afterwards if you chose the rewriting option, that's just bad luck for them.

Do you get what I'm saying about the Geth people?

Don't forget that this dlc is from "before" the events at the end of the game (at least that is how Casey Hudson spun it in the interview). While you certainly could save a lot of side missions and such until after you get Legion, most playthroughs have Legion's loyalty mission occurring right before the suicide mission so in the game world this should occur before the heretics are rewritten.

I think it's becoming more and more likely that they will either have a firm release date at E3, or maybe try to spring a surprise and announce that it's available during sometime at E3 (whether it's the MS conference or a pre-conference show like GTTV)



Personally I hope they announce the ME2 expansion at E3 with a Fall release date. Supposedly after this Overlord DLC they will finally start working on story DLC that bridges the gap between 2 and 3.
