I backed my reasons with facts anyone can verify.
Remember all we had to wait until BDTS for ME1, and later that fiasco of Pinnacle Station?
And that was all we got for a game we all loved.
ME2 was about two years from being released and many people wasn´t playing ME anymore.
As for complaining, well, that´s everyone´s right.
I remember that back in the old forums a guy unleashed the wrath of the gods against Bioware when it was confirmed that LI´s for ME1 would no be recruitable for ME2, it was a very very long post, full of anger.
I bet that today not many of us miss our old flames, who besides turned their backs on us on Horizon, or Illium. That hurt.
Bioware says they will bridge ME2 & 3 with DLC but I think they could get better results with 1 or 2 expansion packs.
As good as ME2 is and as much as we love it, I find it difficult that many of us will be playing it for two years, no matter how many DLC Bioware releases.

Don't know if this is new or accurate but apparently it's going to be released in 5 days (june 15th). The article also mentions a demo for ME2.

Ok this might sound stupid, but demo of what exactly? ME2 has been out for ages now, we all know how it plays, what's left to demo? new dlc is released in 5 days, it's alreay up on the site.

Didn't know if the release date was new or not, thought it wouldn't hurt to post it. The demo is most likely catered to the crowd who haven't bought ME2, i.e the ones who doesn't know how it plays.

EDIT: If anybody doesn't know Major Nelson is basically the spokesperson of XBL, and always details upon new happenings, DLC, news and such. So I pretty much think this is legit.

is there any chance that there will be new weapons/armor i nthis DLC or would they have announced it by now?
Nope. No new weapons or armors in the Overlord. But there's a chance they will release a new weapon/armor pack alongside this dlc. The Incisor rifle has been hinted by the devs a while back, so this might be a chance to finally release it. *fingers crossed*

Another DLC that adds 1 or 2 more hours to the gameplay, but nothing to the main story, great.
The "bridging" DLC is coming.
Honestly, you expect random DLC to contribute to the story of the main game? Kasumi and Zaaed both had choices that will obviously affect ME3, but were they connected to the main plot of ME2? Of course not, that would be silly and it would force people to buy DLC in order to complete the game.
Just going through 5 levels killling a bunch of heretic geth controlled by a rouge VI.
It's not out yet.
I wonder when the ME2 team will stop treating us fans like babies that can be kept happy by puting candys in their mouths and seriously start working in a good expansion pack?
Yes, I'm sure that Dr. Ray is up in his office going "our fans are so stoopid".
If the DAO team could make an expansion pack in only 4 months, why the ME2 team can´t?
I refuse to believe they´re not up to the task.
They are up to the task. They gave us Kasumi, Hammerhead, and Zaaed. All major accomplishments as DLC.

For your information: DAO has a 9.5 score while ME2 has a 9. If you open gamespot and seek the highest rated games you´ll clearly see DAO in place Nº 5, I´m not inventing anything.
All I´m asking for is a good expansion pack, nothing impossible and far better than "cosmetic" DLC like the equalizer pack (I already have the inferno armor) or the alternate appearance pack.
I admit that Kasumi, Zaeed and the Normandy crash site were good, but the other packs made a lot of people angry, just poke around the forums and you´ll see what I mean.
To VIP3Rich: the Overlord description says that when Shepard is sent to investigate a Ceberus base gone silent he finds it overrun by geth. I didn´t confuse anything, it´s all there, confirmed by images 4 & 5.
On Gamespot the PC version of "DAO" scored higher than either version "ME2". The 360 version of "DAO" scored lower than either version of "ME2" though, so I don't get your point.
Also you singled out Gamespot....why exactly? Because it's one of the few sites that gave "DAO" a higher score than "ME2", obviously. Let's look at Metacritic and Gamerankings, they compile the scores of both games from reviews all over the internet:
"DAO" scored lower than "ME2" on 360 and PC on both Metacritic and Gamerankings.com. So let's go with that instead of Gamespot, a review you obviously hand picked because it agrees with you.
And I've been on this forum a while. The upset people are in the minority. Make a poll if you don't believe me. I swear everyone claims "a lot of people" have a problem with this game, it's expansions, Bioware, or some aspect the the franchise yet it's never reflected in the votes in any poll, ever.
Lastly it makes zero sense to complain about DLC considering Bioware already said they are planning DLC that will do specifically what you're asking for. So, why complain about it? It's not going to make them finish it faster.

A demo for a new vehicle as there is still room for one more in teh hanger perhaps.
maybe a demo for the rumored multiplayer aspect for ME.
Could be many things. All pure speculation by me and most likely wrong! LOL!!!

Opinions =/= facts.
a) I have never pretended that Bioware owes me, or anyone of us for that matter, anything, but I remember they promised a lot of DLC for ME1, and we all know what happened.
c) I took the Overlord description from the Bioware page so I´m not inventing anything. In fact it remains me of the "Rougue VI" mission of ME1, if that is so, there´s nothing new under the sun.
d) The Equalizer Pack offers the Inferno Armor, an exclusive preorder bonus; that made a lot of people very unhappy because I remember that someone in Bioware said that exclusive content should stay exclusive. Hence my comment about children and candy. I did not pretend to call anyone stupid.
e) I will keep asking for an expansion pack, even if I´m a single voice claiming in the desert or a peasant sowing in the sea. If we all raise our voices asking for an expansion pack, Bioware will have to listen. After all, we got Tali an Garrus as LIs in ME2, a request that the old ME1 forums are full of
