my point is that people will literally always have something to complain about, no matter how good the content is. but just 2 years ago, this caliber and frequency of DLC for a Bioware game was unheard of .

It's a complaint derived from coveting desire. It doesn't rank that high in annoyance level compared to complaints of utter devestating dissatisfaction.

Agreed.  Before Fallout 3 upped the standard for DLC, I would have been flat out stunned by the amount of DLC we've gotten for ME2.  As it is, I'm still quite pleased and the year isn't over yet.

Fallout 3 DLC were much more deep and good, much cheaper, you could buy them at game stores, and inside those DLCs, many new weapons and armours were included

And by the way, Fallout 3 New Vegas on stores in a few months, Bethesheda is back to fight for the rpg supremacy, good time to compare what kind of dlcs are they going to release. Too many people saying that ME2 kicks Fallout ass, but most of you will buy the new game for sure.

People who say that must be dirty console users. Because, fallout for the pc has a construction kit.

Overlord will be gold standard Bioware quality (think Kasumi - but longer). VO based conversations, cutscenes, strong narrative.

It's 5 full missions (one of them being a vehicle based hub) - and just wait until you see the boss.

longer? good, good, cos after Kasumi i felt a little like..."wow, end already?"

After Kasumi I was blasting the Locust with a grin on my face, and had to do a new playthrough just to enjoy it to the max. Different strokes...

While I think some people have seriously rose-colored glasses when it comes to fallout DLC, I do agree Point Lookout and Broken Steel were quite good, and really good value for money. The others... well. Different strokes? :P

Very very true.  The gap between Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station was just evil and intolerable.  These new fanboys complaining about lack of release dates and BioWare not giving fans enough info just gets an LOL from me.

I'm convinced they aren't even going to release it. but it was just a scheme of Bioware to drive all the fans completely insane.

Updated info on the demo from Christina Norman's Twitter account: http://links.assetize.com/links/fee817

Good choices IMO of levels to use for it, the escape from the Cerberus base of course gives you a good idea of what's going on through convo with Miranda and Jacob, and recruiting Jack is a pretty fun mission IMO.

That is actually pretty interesting (and a good marketing move) that you can import the character from the demo in ME2, good move BioWare =]

That link I posted is a press release from EA and/or BioWare and was linked on Twitter by Christina Norman, who works for BioWare. I would say that's fairly official.

Wow, you can import your demo Shepard from the demo to the game??  Why didn't they do this originally for us??  :P  That's awesome.

Oh well, here's to them doing the same for ME3... before the game is released.  :D

I didn't like Fallout 3 because of it's mediocre voice acting, bad digital acting, bad writing and terrible gameplay. It had very few redeeming features. I might give New Vegas a chance because it's made by Obsidian instead of Bethesda.
