As for the DLC, it seems to me to be mostly combat, but I hope I'm wrong, though. Regarding the price, if you don't like the content or won't buy it, then don't. If you (like me) can't afford it right now, then you can plan to buy it later....

P.S. please continue to release weapons and armor and new cloths for my squad mates also

Maybe next DLC would be one little mission, where you need to go to shopping and buy shields for Hammerhead.

I thought the story was very compelling. The atmosphere of the DLC sucked me in from the very first fights, and I found especially the cutscenes to be excellent. The original music was great, and up until the end the atmosphere was wonderfully creepy. I actually felt like there was a definite urgency in the mission, and that it was important. I would've appreciated more dialogue, especially some with the crew members, but what was there was still enough for me to feel immersed in the story.
The atmosphere jumped around a LOT. First you're in a dark, destroyed lab, then you're in a bright and colorful field with little shifty-looking-cows and waterfalls, then you're in a dark lava field, then back to "dark dungeon" setting... The only thing I thought was creepy was some of those dungeon areas, but it wasn't nearly consistent enough and I got absolutely no sense of urgency from it either. It's not much different than even that N7 mission with the rogue AI/VI thing that was sending robots to other worlds...
To me, the end choice felt very compelling and even personal, even though it didn't personally affect Shepard. Admittedly, it probably had a lot to do with the relationship between the people involved (trying to avoid spoilers here) and my personal feelings when it comes to such relationships, but I found the ending deeply moving. I've played it twice now with different Shepards, and even on the second playthough I got teary-eyed in the end. Any narrative that makes me cry, even almost, is good stuff in my book.
The scene where we finally see him is decently powerful, but it's far too little far too late. The rest of the story doesn't really build to this point. The good stuff is just kind of abruptly dropped in your lap, and the decision is kind of generic. Morals or potential science breakthroughs... Yeah, we've made that decision many times.
The rest of the Hammerhead criticism I completely agree with, but not with this part. I actually think that platforming with the Hammerhead makes perfect sense (in terms of what kind of a vehicle it is) and was even rather fun. Maybe it's a little silly too, but I didn't mind it. I do, however, mind that I can't save when driving the damn thing. This combined with the pathetic shielding and the fact that there's no proper way to know when the cardboard shields are down makes for a very annoying gaming experience. Yes, Mako had its faults, but there were some things it did right. I would also like to be able to leave the vehicle when I want to, and most of all I would like to be able to determine its condition at all times. Having an alarm and some smoke come out a second before I blow up is not enough of a tell, especially when I can't save the game when I want to.
This doesn't make any sense from anything but a game perspective. ME is supposed to a "realistic" sci fi world. I find it really hard to believe that these Cerberus goons built a bunch of small research stations separated by cliffs and giant streams of lava. It's ridiculous from every POV. If you enjoyed it, well, okay, but I couldn't get over how cheesy it felt. Getting caught in a giant industrial fan updraft... XD
All in all, I thought Overlord was the best ME DLC yet. Hopefully there's still more in store for us. I would really love to see some DLC that takes place after finishing the main mission.
Stolen Memory was MUCH better if you ask me. The quest was good, you get an outfit, and, most importantly, you get a squadmate to take with you on the entire rest of the game. Overlord was just a silly 3 hour session of busy work with 15 minutes of interesting plot.
Not trying to start a debate or anything; I understand people have different opinions, but that's how I see it.

Legion is holding out on us, I want a Geth Cannon on the Normandy. "Neo-vision" should be a skill for the rest of the game.

I can't respond to this properly without mentioning story spoilers, so I'll just be vague: For me, the atmosphere came from the combination of story and surroundings, and I was glad there was so much diversity in the latter. I thought the lush world brought wonderful contrast to the bleak stations.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...

You're right about the theme of the choice, we've certainly made it many times before. However, this time it felt more compelling to me than, say, the end decision in the main storyline, because the choice had a face. I also think it brought additional depth to the game's storyline on a larger scale, because it had to do with Cerberus. The e-mail you get after the mission is especially telling in that regard. I think this will be one of the hardest missions for me to play with my evil Shepard, because the pragmatic path is abhorrent to me personally. Still, I see your point. The DLC wasn't particularly original in terms of what the story was about on a larger scale, only the particulars were different. However, as long as it's emotionally satisfying, that's enough for me.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...

Stolen Memory is definitely my second favourite. Still, I very much enjoyed Overlord and was immediately compelled to play it again with another type of Shepard just to see how the dialogue changes, which is something that didn't happen with Stolen Memory. I suppose it just comes down to personal taste.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...

Why do you need a new Shepard? Just reload a save before the final boss. That's the only place you're even offered a moral choice unless you also count the renegade interrupt in that ridiculous LOKI mech scene.
But I think we can agree to disagree here, as all we are doing is arguing about what we personally liked or didn't like.
Personally I felt no desire to replay it when I finished. I was glad it was over; it was mostly a chore for me. And the complete lack of reward for me to use in the rest of the game or even look at in my cabin makes it seem like a waste of my time for any future runs. Kasumi gave me a weapon, a dress, a Normandy bar, and Kasumi. Overlord gave me some credits, some generic resources, and a research upgrade I'm sure I can just buy somewhere else.

What can I say, I'm a roleplayer. *shrug* My Sheps tend to have distinct personalities, so I don't want to force a Paragon character to take the renegade path when it comes to a choice like the DLC presents. Not even for curiosity's sake. It's much more interesting to play the whole thing through in a completely different mindset.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...

But yeah, agreeing to disagree sounds good at this point. My original intent was to present a differing point of view, and I've done that. We clearly approach the DLC from different perspectives, which is perfectly fine.

Wonderful visuals and good musics nevertheless. A N7 ++ mission.
I prefer Bring down the sky from ME1, and also Kasumi who brings a lot of things with her.
