Does anyone else see a possible connection between this DLC and the next book? I have read the synopsis -- and it says that Cerberus is going to implant Grayson with with Reaper Tech. Can't wait for the next book...

Right, right, of course you would say back on topic when you brought up what I quoted you on in the first place.  If you don't expect people to respond to certain things in your posts then don't type them down at all.

Just a thought?

But it is what it is, no harm and no foul.

I personally give it a 10/10. It adds a bitter of everything I enjoy about Mass Effect as well as an emitionally disturbing and upsetting story. (I personally found this DLC and Red Dead Redemption to be the sadest and most emotional stories I have ever played).

Check out the DLC on Metacritic, some no name website reviewed and gave Overlord a 5/10 expressing dissapointment and distaste without validating his reasons. Basically a supposed journalist whining instead of being constructive, now you know why it is a POS no name site. What a schmuck! The common scores for Overlord are 9's and 8's. Personally though I rate very high for Mass Effect, I look beyond just the story and gameplay and look into a lot of other deeper aspects. I saw Kasumi as being 9/10 (not a 10 since there is no extra conversational dialogue within the SR2) material so you can kind of see where my point of view is coming from.

I would give it 6 out of 10 at best.
Crappy Hammerhead fights (glass tank, fights are rididculous), no party dialogue whatsoever and it is way too short.
But considering it is a BioWare DLC, it is not that bad. Well worth 7 bucks IMHO.

Is EA going to release an eyfinity friendly patch any time soon......?????????

I have 3 x 24" screens that I'd like to use.... Not to mention, it would add another dimension for my 4th playthough.......????????

Ok I see you re rating it so my rate is 9/10 WITH HAMMERHEAD, I know why the hammerhead is there and why it´s easy to blow up so no problem with it...Only problem is some CZ language bugs again...

I'd give it 8.5/10. Deduct points for lack of shielding in Hammerhead battles. Otherwise a fantastic DLC.

6/10 here as well. My main complaint is there was too much fighting between the parts where the story progressed. (I consider 5/10 to be average, so this is  above average.) This thing I liked the most was the ending.

You realize that 10/10 is 100%, perfect, flawless. Are you saying there was absolutely nothing you didn't like about it? What about the fact that your squad mates didn't say anything?

I have to say I really enjoyed the DLC. I'd consider it on par if not better than BDtS for the original Mass Effect. The hammerhead sections were cool especially the geth cannon and the story and set piece events were really great. As many have said I actually liked the last fight better than I did the human reaper battle, this should be the gold standard for Mass Effect DLC.

If I had to rate it I would give it an 8.5, keep them coming. :)

My only complaint is the hammerhead is like a tank made out of paper.  I can see it's armor must be light for it to fly, but it should at least have a shield so that it doesn't get obliterated by autoguns.

Just finished it and I have to say I was very very impressed. Easily as good if not better than Bring Down the Sky for the original.

The story was engaging the location was beautiful and all of the challenges and combat were great fun. All in all this is the easily my favorite DLC so far (Kasumi comes in a close second).

Really my only disappointment is the fact that we have to pay for DLC to give us side quests with decent story-lines. I do miss the many engaging side missions from the original, despite the repetitive locations they all had a good story to tell and it really helped make the game feel a bit like you're playing your own personal sci-fi serial. In contrast the vanilla side quests for ME2 were less than engaging, to put it lightly. Sure the locations were all well crafted and unique but the total lack of meaningful interaction with any NPC's in them made them feel really hollow and pointless. /endrant

I do hope that future DLC's (and games) can follow the example of this one and provide us both unique locations as well as good stories that will have me excited to play through them again.

Just played it, it was awesome. Zooming around the planet and platforming was pretty fun, but combat in the Hammerhead is a chore on Insanity. Please include the option to upgrade it with resources for the next DLC that includes it.

Anyways, I hope future DLC, and ME3, is similar to Overlord in form. 9/10

All I know is that after this DLC, I can't stop thinking about how Geth Ships look so much like the Covenant Ships from Halo.

Not that it is a bad thing, I guess I just never payed much attention to them.
