let begin from the start... i used the money glitch to to get alot of money
and i had a thought, why not buy everything from every shop and sell it to bodahn
so i will have the ultimate store in the camp instead of traveling all the time from shop to shop
if i need something. and so i did started from LOTHERING to the circle of magi and than ORZAMMAR
started "robing" their's stores one by one, and selling it's to bodahn
dont get me the wrong way i wasnt there only for the stores i also done the place main/side quests

well here i am going to redcliife... after i finished the quest there i started robbing them too ^^
and so i returned the camp with full pack ready to be sold
and i found when i selling him about 25 staffs he won't openn his wares for me
is that his limit? he saying his text but not open his wares to me

does bodahn have a limit that why it happened? or is it a glitch?
i can go back to the last save where i not sold the ware's yet but this is a repeating glitch
what can i do now? and can it be fixed???

sorry for my bad english

Yes, vendors have a limit. Once they reach that limit, they behave as you are currently experiencing from Bodahn.

If you can find a way to access his merchandise window, you could purchase some of the items you've sold him back and stash them someplace else. Other than that, I know of no way to remove them.

It's also possible you could delete some stuff using the toolset to edit the savegame.  If you open the save, look for "SAVEGAME_AREALIST" and expand it.  Under that will be a bunch of numbered entries.  You have to open them and find the one called "cam100ar_camp_plains".  Under that will be an entry called "SAVEGAME_AREA_STORES", and  a single entry labeled '0' (unless you've added merchants through mods).  That's Bodahn's shop.  Under that is "SAVEGAME_STORE_ITEMLIST", and below that will be entries for every last thing you sold him.  Start deleting crap.  Also, there's a key for stores called "SAVEGAME_MAX_ITEMS" and normally it's set to '-1'.  It may be that when you hit the limit, that value was changed, but I'm not sure the game even uses it. If it does use it, you'll want to change it back to the default value after you clear some space in his shop.

ETA: Also, I'd backup the save if you decide to try this.

and an other question

when i finish the game and i decide to play again with an other character
Bodahn wares will stay the way they ended up in the first playthrough
i mean all those thing i sold him will be there?
and all the shops i "robbed" will be empty?

Somehow merchants CAN have an expanded stock. At least BioWare managed it for Cera in Awakening. She has many many runes in her inventory, and they do not stack.

But I have no clue (yet) how they did that...

Well, what's in the savegame for her shop?  As to how: one possibility is that she actually has no pre-defined inventory, and that a script simply populates her shop every time you enter the keep. Then, the save would just track what you've sold her.  Also, the patch could have added a special "max items" constant just for her shop.  Easy to do if you have the source for the engine itself, instead of just what's available in the toolset.

They seem to use a trick.
Her SAVEGAME_MAX_ITEMS is set to -1 and when saving, the number of items are reduced, e.g to 17 for all the runes, although she always has 99 in stock.
Too bad the script sources aren't available (yet)...

If you put so many (unique) items into Bodhan's inventory, you cannot get around the max value.
Like I posted above, Cera's stock is cheated to smaller stack sizes and raised to 99 again when you enter her shop.
That only works as long the number of (stackable) items < max items.

Well, the -1 bit is normal.  All shops have that.  As far as having 99 items at all times, all you actually need is a stack size of one, and then you set the "infinite" flag.  Voila: eternally has 99 in stock.  You can get odd effects though if you sell a merchant a stack of something they have infinite stock of normally.  You might end up with the normal "always 99" stack, and then another infinite stack that shows up as "22" or whatever.  That might only persist on the console versions though.  I think on PC it just vanishes when you exit the shop menu.

No, each play through is a fresh world. Your characters can't 'interact' with each other through it via merchant.

Yeah, exactly.  Shops are tracked in the savegame, so different character, different shop inventories.  Even an earlier save from the same character can have different shop lists.
