I remember owning several of those electronic games before my first computer. They're about the size of a cigarette pack, though flatter, and are essentially just one game, hard coded. The static "graphics" are drawn on the screen, and the moving bits were all composed of black pixels. This particular game was my favorite.

Got later an Amiga 500, and then moved on to PC's. Never was much into consoles, though I had a Playstation and a Sega Dreamcast (loved Resident Evil: Code Veronica on this one, was the reason i got the dreamcast...).

I didn't own a Game & Watch but I did play a few back then. Those things sell for a fortune now. I've seen scraps of it, like a button, sell for $25 alone. By all accounts I've read few of them were made.
Man I wish I'd held on to those... I'm pretty sure they got lost during a move or something.

@Swordfishtrombone - Happens to all of us. :/ I've lost my share of stuff that way. Not I preserved most of my toys in salable condition.

My first actual PC computer was a Packard Bell 286, and that was only because we couldn't get Sears to give us a replacement on our busted C-64 (as they weren't made anymore.)

The best portable system during the early 90's though was the Turbo
Express. It was basically a portable turbo graphix-16. I owned one.
I never did get around to buying one (I wanted to) but a friend had one. And, yes, it was (IMO) the best handheld until the GBA.

And the C-64's were cheap for their time. When PC's were going for $1000 and Apple's were going for $1000, a C-64 was like $150.
Wow, that's a lot cheaper!
