The idea of here has to be taken from that old movie I think it was called fire starter, been a really long time since I have seen it so don't quote me, but the plot was a little girl that could start fires with her mind, scientist had kidnapped her and where trying to do tests on her to control and unlock her power, needless to say she went nuts killed everyone and escaped.

I've been trying to find a source of this dev comment, but haven't been succesfull yet. Ofcourse it's possible the guy who said that was talking bs(IGN forum after all).

I remember someone in the ME1 forum thinking that Jack was modeled after Sasha Grey. I sort of saw the resemblance except for the eye shape/size. Face structure was similar.

One has a good reason, the other, not so much.



But yeah, Jack does look a bit like her voice actress. It's really difficult to tell with the whole shaved head thing.

Well I found one post by a dev that could be the one that guy at IGN forum was referring to.
 
Matthew W Fisher,technical designer,from ME2  forum:

"Before Yvonne signed on, all there was was internal concept art, and a placeholder morph head. (As in, using the same sort of system you use to make your custom appearance Shepard, as opposed to using scanned head geometry like you see in major human characters, ala iconic Shepard, Captain Anderson, Liara, etc.) So the only real change from before was that Miranda used to have a Scandinavian last name, which changed as that wouldn't make sense with Yvonne's Australian accent."

MAJOR HUMAN CHARACTERS and it says Liara too. So I guess it's very very likely that Jack was modeled after someone, but probably someone unknown student etc. who didn't wanna get credited for modeling.

Even if we would ask some dev, they probably couldn't give a name even if they knew.
