You can do the quests in any order, but some may be more difficult at lower levels.

If you have the DLC, Soldier's Keep and Return to Ostagar both have good complete sets of armor and can be done right after Lothering.

This is my reccomended order just on the basis of picking up good armor: This does not take into account PC level or difficulty setting.

Lothering - Heavy Chainmail (Steel, complete set) from Bandit Leader during Chantry Board quests. Ancient Elven Boots in the Chantry if you have the fix or are on console.

Honnleath - Grab the Helm of Honnleath

Warden's Keep - Pick up the Warden Commander's Set

Return to Ostagar - Grab Cailan's Armor

Orzammar - Pick up the Gloves of DIligence in a locked chest in the Shaperate. Pick up Effort's Boots from the shopkeeper in Dust Town. Find the rest in the Deep Roads. Also, pick up the complete Legion of the Dead set in the Deep Roads.

Dalish Camp - Pick up the complete Juggernaut Plate set in the Brecilian Forest and werewolf lair, get another two pieces of the Ancient Elven Set, one from the Hermit and one from the Lower Ruins

Urn of Sacred Ashes - Grab the Armor of DIligence in the Ruined Temple and the Ancient Elven Gloves. Gather drake scales for Wade for the Wade's armor sets. Do the dragon now or come back later, but if you want great armor, do it now and grab the scale for Wade.

Redcliffe - Get it out of the way, save Valena for access to Boots of DIligence from Owen.

Crap I don't have DLC but I'm a console player so I'll look for the boots in Lothering.

What about Wade's armor? everyone says its good... I did get all the scales but I don't think my rogue could wear the armor

Wade's drakeskin sets are light sets, good for rogues (but need, I think, 20 strength to wear since they are Tier 7), but his dragonscale set only comes in medium, heavy, or massive, so are probably more suitable for a warrior.

i dont think what a templar spec is good at all, champion or reaver is much better imo, all of templar's abilities are willpower based, i'd prefer to use whirlwind or punisher or riposte or if youre champion a warcry which knockdown all of mages =)

holy smite is a knockdown/stun just like war cry but does damage and can be casted at range!

indeed it can be, but how long range is? just few feets and it cost 70 stamina with 40 sec cd, i didnt tried it at high level, but between 14-17 damage was ~120 like my warcry and mighty blow/sunder arms combo has 100% chance to kill a mage or two with another auto attack/sunder armor combo

well i dont say what a holy smite is useless, but all of temlar abilities and bonuses looks a bit.. ridiculous for a melee oriented fighter imo

I think I have to agree here templar isn't useless but it's better suited for a tank if you play a melee oriented warrior you're better of with berserker, champion or reaver

To be honest, I think all warrior specs are of, hmm, limited use, to put it lightly. I usually pick berserker - 2 str, 10 health is the best bonus, and +8 damage from the mode is quite good in earlygame, especially for dualwielder since it affects both weapons. I don´t level more than the mode though.

Then I take reaver for heal and frightening, don´t level the modes though.

I think the Champion spec is the best one. Hard to beat War Cry + Superiority. Radius knock down every 20 seconds. Two 2 Hand Champions should be able to keep almost the entire melee field knocked down by rotating Sweep and War Cry. That would be four radius knockdowns every 20 seconds!

yes, 2-hand warrior chamion/berserker is one of the best specialization combination

as a warrior i want as much cc as it can be, so champion is my choice, usually monsters dies before health goin to 40% at nightmare difficulty, 2hand warrior solo playing.. ugh, no thanks ;p

ps. is that frightening useful btw?

Wrong.

2-Hander Warrior Berserker/Reaver best specialization combination ever, Do a nightmare run with the nightmare plus mod which makes nightmare mode harder than the default nightmare and you'll see that this is better than Champion/Berserker.

I would think Reaver/Champ would beat a Berserker/Reaver anyday. A 2 Hand warrior just has too low attack speed to justify wasting three feats on Zerker. Not when you can use Powerful Blows and Two Hand Str for + 5 dmg. Champion is amazing once you get Superiority and can start spamming War Cry. 20 Cost and 20 second cool down. Heck ya. Group Knockdown > +8 Dmg.  Who gives a rats butt when you are going from 100 to 108 pts of dmg per hit. Leave the Zerker to the Dual Welds

Willpower? Death Blow solves that problem, especially as a DW. Half of your damage comes from pure auto-attacking because most of the active DW talents blow compared to 2H. If you want to use full size weapons, get enough dex for talents, then pump str all the way. If you want to use daggers, get enough str for armor and talents, then dex all the way. Willpower is the most cost-INEFFICIENT stat in the game.
