Why the Engine Room?

When Miranda finally decides to jump Shepard's bones, she arranges to do so in the Engine Room, rather than her quarters or his. Some have theorized that she chose that locale because it's "neutral ground". I have a simpler theory:
Miranda is a Bee-otch, with a capital "B".
Consider what else is in the immediate vicinity: Tali's post is just around the corner. And there's no doors in between. Even if Tali was told to vacate, she's bright enough to understand why she's being told to leave her post.
Jack's quarters are wide open to the open shaft under that platform where Miranda and Shepard go at it. Undoubtedly, Jack will hear every "oomph", "ahh!" and "oh, god!" that those two let slip.
Miranda is a Bee-otch, with a capital "B".
Miranda MUST know that her two competitor's for Shepard's Romantic inclinations will be intimately aware that she, Miranda, got him and they did NOT.
Miranda is a Bee-otch, with a capital "B".
It's not enough that she win the competition. She has to rub the losers' noses in it.
Beeeeeee-otch.

****! IT DOES! Everyone on the ship could have watched since most rooms do look over the core. **** I never realized that! is that a simple oversight by the devs or is there meaning behind it?

The meaning is Miranda likes to show off that she f*cked Shepard. Or she wants everyone to see her perfectly enginereed vagina. Who knows.Pinkflamingo22 wrote...

Four rooms, four windows. Unless you count the doorway, too.Fatex3 wrote...

Mass
Effect fields are a very strong aphrodesiac. I wanted to be as close to
the Mass Effect core (...and as close to Shepard) as I could get.
When I want aphrodesiacs, I settle for nothing but the best.

Yes, Miranda shagged you in the freaking engine room!!! You know you liked it!!! Get over it!!!!!!!
And of course, it must be because she's petty and vindictive! Yes, I'll bet she recorded the whole thing with a hidden camera just to be evil and then gave the tape to Tali, providing play-by-play narrations of each kiss and hip thrust as Tali weeped uncontrollably in a corner, while belowdecks Jack lay on her bunk dragging a knife across her arm and sobbing!

I asked if I was supposed to know what that meant, but he didn't really care to tell me because he thought I wasn't mature enough or something (I'm 20). lol

I swear to God, this is the zombie topic from hell. It won't go away. I want to stab it with a sharp object until it dies. I'm going mad. I'm starting to see things. What was that? A shadow just moved. There's cottage cheese everywhere. I hear "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" on an old record player, where's it playing, where's it coming from?!
