That doesn't make much sense.

Nope, but it's a rationale I can understand them using, and it suits me from a story perspective.  Note that I contrasted what I think is the actual answer with what is my favourite answer.

Remember Enyala's line when Shep and Miranda show up at Dock 94?

"I was just waiting for you to finish getting dressed. Or does Cerberus actually let you w**** around in that
outfit?"

Maybe her wh--, um, white outfit is easier to get in and out of than her black outfit with the umpteen straps.

They should made Miranda give a reason...but here are some other possibilities

a) Better lightning in the engine room

B) To differentiate from other romance scenes

c) More room for animations

You _do_ realize that every time you add your "This thread should never have been started" comments, you move the thread that you so desperately want to go away moves to the top of the heap again?  If you really want it to go away faster, don't bother making such remarks.

I'm almost certain that is a technical thing. They only modeled "clothes off Miranda" with default white clothes and did not bother redoing the model for other outfits. (it's not even an animation, as the camera focuses on Shepard and when it comes back she already "switched models" to the undressed one).

because I love doing it. Love watching people do this. lol

I do bother, is fun. Like telling a kid to not touch the flame for any reason. And they keep doing it and doing it.

Is fun :P

Miranda is a ****ing moron that I would have shot first chance I had. The more you interact with her, the more you realize the Reapers are correct for wanting to remove such individuals from the galaxy. It is worth the collateral damage just so she would never take another breath...

Just sick and tired of having to see such horrible characters on my crew and be unable to fix it. Miranda, Jack, Jacob, Thane, all just need to enter a black hole and stop screwing with my ship. I cant even play it anymore because I dread having to interact with them. :(

I'm surprised that nobody has raised this possibility yet.

Both Mordin and Tali tell you that the Normandy SR-2 is bugged to high heaven. Also note that the platform in front of the core is where Tali brings you to have private discussions, and it's ALSO the place where Miranda chooses to have her rendezvous.

It seems pretty obvious to me; Miranda chose that spot because it is the ONE place on the ship that does not have cameras or listening devices recording your EVERY MOVE. **

Then again, who knows? Maybe Shepard would secretly like to have his 'secret sex tape' uploaded to the extranet and then milk that new infamy with book deals. :P

** YES, the Illusive Man is WATCHING YOU WHILE YOU SLEEP.

Miranda likes to shove it in Tali's face that she got Shepard. Why else would she do it right in her workplace? Tali did not like cleaning the "aftermath" off her computer.

I'm certain that Miranda wouldn't be stupid enough to have forgotten to clear rooms looking over the platform. Maybe she had everybody gather in the mess hall for a 'last meal' while she and Shepard snuck off?

And besides... Between 'risking my friends and trusted crewmates spotting me' and 'going on video and possibly being broadcast across the galaxy to trillions of random strangers'... I'll take the former.

Guys who keep saying you can watch out the windows are morons. You can't, i have went to them all and the sex scene happens in a place where none of the windows can see. Again this argument fails. Plus Miri says she cleans out the negine room, that means Tali and most likely Jack where not there. Again that argument is gone. If you want to be a hater, at least have a brain and make good arguments.

I agree, was TOTALLY uncalled for, even Kasumi says something about this
