You remind me why most social forums become a waste of space: a outspoken cliche take it upon themselves to harass the hell out of anyone whose opinion s they disdain an essentially shout him/her down until they either shut the hell up or abandon the forum in search of more civil environments.

I wonder if anyone's pointed out the fact that Kraid is getting offended because Patch called a computer character a ****, and Patch has failed to recognise the absurdity of this.

Anytime someone insults something you care about, you're going to be upset, regardless of whether it's real or not. It doesn't matter.

There's nothing wrong with it, either. Every character is just a representation of something inside someone, somewhere. They are as real as we are, in a way. Characters can be very dear to us. They're supposed to be.

I think a little reality check is in order: None of the characters are you, or part of you. You did not write them, you did not create them, all you did was buy the game they were in. There is nothing, anywhere, which warrants getting so personal because someone has a contrary opinion.
