now i'll go irst, i called my Human male warrior Achilles because for those of you that know even the slightest bit about greek mytholgy your'll know that Achilles is meant to be the greatest warrior that ever lived and i found it fitting that if my guy is gonna save Thedas than this is in appropiate name, i also love the fillm troy and brad pitts performance in it not to mention i find greek mytholgy highly intreasting. So now its your turn, fire away.

Among others, I have two elves called Raelis Shai and Phaere that BG2 fans surely recognize. A little tribute to Bioware, they're better with names I ever could be

Raelis Shai had an awesome voice/accent.

I also usually end up making some offshoot of James or Jamie (Jamaz/Jaemi, and the like), just because I really like the flow of those names for some reason.

Common Dwarf, Pullo Brosca. Named for Titus Pullo, specifically the portrayal of him in the HBO series "Rome". He's the stabbinest legionaire in the legion.
Dalish Elf, Artemisia Mahariel. Named for Artemisia Gentileschi, who is my favorite female painter.

Female Dalish mage (I love mods): Keshet which means bow or rainbow.
Male elven mage: Ashke, because I really do love the Valdemar books and Vanyel.
Human noble female: Ilit which means uppermost or superlative, since she is a noble.
Female city elf: Serafina which means burning fire. She is a red head, and after that origin she is pretty much a bundle of rage.
Male city elf:Yakir which means honorable. Again, very descriptive of his personality.
Female dwarven noble: Gazit which means cut stone- appropriate for a child of the stone.
Human noble male: Abir which means hero or strong.
Male dwarven commoner: Eitan meaning strong.
Female dwarven commoner: Sela meaning rock.
Male elven mage: Asa meaning healer.
Male Dalish: Ilan meaning tree.
(and then there were the two Therons and a Neria) I have too many characters...

Male Human Magi - Dorrian. It fit his self-centered character very much.
Female Elf Magi - Mystaria. Named her after a weapon a certain character weilded in Vanguard Bandits. Alwayst thought of it as a very cool and mysterious name.
Female City Elf - Aleena. Used this one from a very old OC of mine. Don't even remember her now except for the name.
Male Dalish Elf - Petri. Named after Petri Lindroos of Norhter and Ensiferum. It totaly fit with his face and manerisms.
Male Dwarf Noble - Gendryk. Wanted a unique, but not too high fantasy sounding dwarven name that would't sound too much out of place when compared to his brothers. I was thinking for good 30 or so minutes before it just popped into my head all of a sudden.
Male Dwarf Commoner - Ernir. I wanted something that felt "Middle-Earthish" for this one. Came up with it by mutating Ernie a bit. The name means earnest and sincere, which Ernir is despite being a thief and a lowlife.
Male Human Warden - Francois. Orlesian Warden = French. No explanations needed.
Female Dwarf Warden - Marcelle. It felt energetic and spunky, very much like the character.
Male Elf Mage Warden - Konstantin. Loyal, wise and hardy.
