I have changed my OS from Vista to Seven and my old modules are no longer seen by the toolset cause i've been forced to restore the darabase in order to make it works.

So, how can i add my areas, items ,plc, creatures, etc... back in the database ?

I hope there's a way (4 months of work)

Help will be highly appreciated Posted Image

if you haven't made a backup or builder to builder package of the old database your data is lost. and you need to recreate it manually. any other art resources such as level is still around and you can use them with your "new" module.

Thanks a lot.

I only wish there was another way. Will have to redo areas, creatures, items, plots and conversations won't I ?

the conversations should be possible to recover from a exported version. but you would need to copy paste the conversations nodes back into your new module. same goes with other text fields.

I'm not clear whether the OP has a backup. If there is a Builder-to-Builder version of the module, it should be possible to load all the resources including text.

The string id range in module properties would need to be set very wide, so that the original string ids are valid (even if you don't recall exactly what the range was). The B2B would then be loaded using the Use Existing option for string ids.
