Beyond the Horde Mind: Darkspawn Disciples

Posted Image

With the latest DLC for Dragon Age: Origins less than a week away, Bioware has unveiled an unusual twist for Ferelden: a view of the flip-side in the battle to end the Blight. The Darkspawn Chronicles will allow us to experience the siege of Denerim from the perspective of the horde itself, as we find ourselves pitted against the forces of Alistair and the Grey Wardens. In preparation for this exciting new installment in Dragon Age lore, it’s time to take a look at the darkspawn and their changing role in Thedas.

Am I missing a tie-in, or is there a misspelling in the article title?

Nothing I've read succeeds in making me interested in the DLC. It promises nothing but the horde mind, so "beyond the horde mind" is beside the point where the DLC is concerned.

I was very disapointed in Awakaning. (It was ok but not as good as it should have been from Bioware) and this is not making DLC for DAO look any better....

Good job with the article, enjoyed the read (Awakening had me wonder as much as well about the Disciples, but from the epilogues I can say the Disciples are not evil)

Keep up the good work GW :)
