I read a quote recently and it made me realise that the trouble I have with anti-Cerberus people is that, by and large, they are not just anti-Cerberus.

They are also anti-industry, anti-capitalism, anti-advertising, anti-selling, anti-profit, anti-USA, anti-patriotism, anti-police, anti-army, anti-nukes, anti-authority. Almost anything that made the world a freer, safer and more prosperous place, you name it, they're anti it.

Like I said, Paragons are largely leftists. It fits their ideology of sedition and symapthy for foreign entities. Self-loathing and all that.

None of your mentioned buzzwords have any actual correlation to freedom, prosperity, safety or are actually contrary to it (police, army and authority actually being by their very purpose unfree and anti freedom as they limit people's liberty via laws, force or their purpose and only cost money).

Usually the three concepts of freedom, propserity and safety are at constant odds with each other so any drilldown to some ultimate truth always fails. If you want safety you have to give up freedom and money, if you want money you can't afford safety and thus protection of your freedom, you want freedom, forget safety and wether you get money will largely depend on your luck.

See, this is what I'm talking about. How protected from real life do you have to be to think that having a police force does not correlate with a country's wealth, freedom or security? Mangalores should go somewhere where there isn't one and see how rich, free and safe the average joe

is. I hear Somalia is nice this time of year.

Is anyone anti-Cerberus but pro the things on my list?

This is funny because I knew a French leftist who constantly identified Somalia as a rightwinger's paradise: highly religious and no government interference.

Well, you may be having trouble with the kind of people no one wants to argue with. Personally, I'm just anti-Cerberus because of their speciesism policy, and I had hoped to work with the Council in ME3. I don't hate them; they were certainly useful in getting Shepard back on his/her feet, but Mr. Illusive wants to work with Reaper tech, he'll have to do it with a new base.

That's a tad hypocritical, don't you think?

Patriotism makes the world a freer, safer and more prosperous place??
Would you care to elaborate?

Well, I'm from Germany:whistle:
I think the European Union made europe a freer, safer and more prosperous place...and not the nationalism in the late 19th/early 20th Century.

That's the reason why I support the council, not Cerberus (and I am not anti-capitalism, anti-police,...)

I am anti-Cerberus but pro all the things on your list.

That is...

I am anti-Cerberus, pro-industry, pro-capitalism, pro-advertising, pro-selling, pro-profit, pro-USA, pro-patriotism, pro-police, pro-army, pro-nukes (no really), and pro-authority. Did I get everything?

It amuses me when you try to generalize us like this.

Do it again!

You're in the minority, Nightwriter. Or at least the vocal anti-Cerberus, anti-human, anti-Renegade crowd.

Really? That must be why you all act like just because I'm anti-Cerberus I want to take away your right to bear arms or something.

Dean has said many times that you're among the smarter of the dummies, so perhaps he was right after all.

Jesus Christ....

I tend to lean more towards being a Paragon and I am anti-Cerberus. In RL I classify myself as moderate with slight leanings towatds conservatism. Socially, I'm mostly liberal except for taxes and in foreign policy and concerning the military I'm more conservative. Where do I fit into your little "all Paragons are godless, liberal commies"?

I find it hard to believe that a paragon would have any "conservative" leanings towards foreign policy. That or you're just a fool.

I am extreme moderate... :P

I like to use ideas from both extremes, It doesnt matter whats left or other left, it only matters about the results.

Only Velarn is speciesist.

Technically, the salarian councilor is on your side most of the time, and Tevos is...well, the asari's pretty much neutral.
