As you can see here I have the Black portrait problem with Morrigan.
How can I fix it? I had it many times, but other times the fix was to reset the game or re-load a savegame, but now don't work. Please help me.

As you can see by my avatar I have portrait problems with my hero as well as all my companions. It has been this way since the beginning (pre/post-patch, pre/post-mods) and regardless of video settings. It must be a rare problem since I can find no other mentions of it.

I'm having this same issue myself. Not sure how to fix it, maybe find the image cache files?

What graphic card are you using? What is your version of Windows?

Do the general troubleshooting process.
Update/Reinstall all your drivers. Particularly video card, and direct x.
Make sure your drives dont need defragmenting.
Make sure the game is properly patched and up to date.
Make sure your not having any Mod Conflicts by turning them all off and making sure you have a empty override folder(Just copy it to desktop or something so you can easily move it back)
After all that is done if your still having the problem, uninstall Dragon Age and reinstall or if you can run a some kind of repair tool or reinstall over the top of your current one.
Im fairly certain this is either a video driver problem or corrupted files problem but you never can tell without troubleshooting.
