To give some background i had adjusted my memory timings in the bios some time back to solve an issue for another game. It didn't work but i never changed it back until recently. Once i set it back to auto for the timings i haven't had a single crash while playing multiple hour sessions. Thought i would pass it on in hopes of it helping someone else.
