So i'm stuck in the deserted building. seems to be the last major room of adds before the boss fight or whatever. 3 mages that do ridiculous fire bombs and 5 mercenary/archers. I can't get past this and i even set the darn thing to easy mode and everyone is dying fast. I'm using fire protection stuff, i set up traps, using acid flasks..still not working.

any solutions someone might have? i'm using myself (warrior), alistair, leliana and morrigan (healing/mage). I've been at this for over an hour now.

do you have aoe spells like inferno or blizzard? if you do use blizzard while mobs didn't aggroed with some luck you will aggro only a few of mobs

nope. don't have it. what i've been doing is having them all stand in the main room and have leliana stealth to open all the doors and unstealth on one of the smaller entrances to only aggro a few of them..but it's not working like i hoped. if i could just get the fire bomb situation thing under control I think i can get it.

mb you have cone of cold? this thing is uber for controlling undesired mobs

if you have morrigon, let her use force field, ont he mage boss then use Leliana to take out the other mage and let your tank and yourself deal with the mercanaries. Keep the mage leader force fielded though
