 Fact is, people are connected through networking sites.

another fact is that people like large buttons, ask Apple.

So, why not take this Networking site(1) and make the forum channels not a small paragraph of words under a yellow title

but a Whole rounded-edge rectangle button with those words in it. 

that way im not asking myself, where's the button to get in?

Large Fonts help too.

Summarizations of each Sub-froum and remind youself that LESS IS MORE. Excluding button size of course

Also, redeisgning buttons should follow suit to the profile pull-downs, that being semi-transparent to its surroundings. even if its  a shade of black or dark grey. The initial button faded color should be light blue, looks best to contrast to the dark background the forum has.

another random suggestion would be to merge SWTOR forums with this forum come launch.



That will sky-rocket attendance.
