Details Leading up to Crash (Slight Spoiler Warning)- May or may not be relevant, probably boring to anybody but BioWare
I had a game saved on Easy difficulty in Watcher's Keep DLC just prior to drinking the potions outside the Warden Mage's room (had not spoken to him yet)
In the interim, I upgraded my hard drive and reinstalled my OS onto the new drive (as well as backed up everything on the old drive to the new drive).
I reinstalled DragonAge from the original retail disk (V1,00), then copied over my Windows.old \\\\ users \\\\ My Documents\\\\ Bioware \\\\ Dragon Age folder to the new OS. I then installed Awakenings from retail disk, which upgraded me to 1.03.
Details of the Crash (Slight Spoiler Warning)
I drank the potions, gained the new abilities, talked to the old warden mage, and went to to fight the demons while he undid the summoning circles. Combat went along fine until the last demon, the Desire Demon, came out. Within 2 seconds I would crash to desktop.
