I have in my mind maybe more - co-op options, dangerous but to go there you need to prepare yourself in offline mode.
Online will offer you new dungeons, quests market, meeting and chatting and all community.
Now, to rest,  you can go to camp - why not go to online City, sell crap rest etc etc. This option will open you loads of new possibilities for. ex - fighting against each other live in a Ring of Proves.
Common - "Star Wars: The Old Republic" :) I would to be a lord Vader. heh.. No its not for me.
I think just DA realm is PERFECT! I love it. Even in work its hard to forget about my Dwarf.

Bring us - Dragons Age MMO

Eff, no !

I want more, good SP-RPGs. I'm fed up with that recent mindset that *every* game needs MP.

You speak the truth, sister. We don't need any more MMOs. They're watered down versions of what a true rpg really is.

No.

I concur, can we get a third to sign, seal and deliver this absurd idea to the trash heap along with all the posts that came calling for elder scrolls to be made into an MMO

Signed, sealed, and hurling as we speak.  Also:

*FlintlockJazz backstabs OP*
*OP takes 1000000000 points of damage*
*OP is gibbed, resurrection impossible*

A more serious response, making this game into an MMO would ruin chances for more single-player sequels.  Also, one of the main draws for this game is the NPCs and their interactions, a MMO would have to do away with that (or have a hell of a lot of carbon copies running around) in favour of fellow PCs, who lets face it generally have less personality than a TES: Oblivion NPC let along a Tranquil in this game.  I know because I have no personality either! ;)

Just the NWN co-op option, in combination with the toolset that would be more than fine.

no need for an MMO, just let a few players control the henchmen, a real persons story could be interesting too ;)

Noooooooooooooooooooo.

One of the reasons this game is so great is that it is NOT an MMO. No thank you.

Serious balance issues and certain design flaws make it unfit for PvP.

Who cares about a MMO, I just want Co-op Like NWN had. Playing with my friends is all this game really needs to be nearly perfect.

Now that is a golden ticket idea.

But ultimatly my problem with MMOs is that you don't feel the connection to the world. Or even the vast impact. When I played through DAO for my first time I felt like everything I did was directly influicing the world around me. That is something that has never happened in an MMO and I don't think will ever.

but if you read what we are are saying, we are saying theres  No need for an MMO, just co-op through the story line, one person can lead and make the choices, at least the journey can be shared, makes it so much more fun!

I agree completly I was mearly trying to point out the flaws I find in any MMO. They just can't compair to the level of impact you have on a world.

I just wonder how this game could work as MMO .
I think it coud just copy some form WoW ( end - level ) + some new ideas.  All others thinkgs like game play etc looks perfect.
I might to say this could be best game ever! single player + MMO.

To have this game online I could pay 80 eur / month without and doubts.
Is there any rumors  about online experience ?

Congrats, most ridiculous idea of the release so far...

No. Perhaps persistent worlds and co-op like in NWN for DA2 (if there's going to be one) but please no MMORPG, there are enough of those already.

I love the fact there is actually an end to the story and not the endless mindset of MMO moneyslurping bloodbags <.<

But I concur with other posts above, a co-op would be nice ^^

Why ruin a perfectly awesome RPG by turning it into an MMO?

I would love co-op. But of course it wouldn't work. It's very much dependable on companions.

But imagine a party of four real people, being friends and talking to each other during the fights. It would be great.

And here you have the typical mindset of a MMO'er. Inclined to use internet stereotypes and quick to jump to conclusions.

Who mentioned anything about WoW, other than the contents of your original post? In fact, WoW is what's wrong with RPGs in general.

You'll get the same "average" response on a MMoRPG forum if you asked for a single player rpg.

(I expected a few more teeth to be gnashed but the night is young.)

Any game *could* be a viable MMO. I'd prefer the NWN/NWN2 route for flexibility myself.

There's a bunch of MMOs you can play, DA doesn't need to be one. I like my rpgs solo without l33tspeak kids and pointless grinding.
