This project struck me when I was geeking about geeky things within the realm of Dragon Age. The basic premise is, "What if Duncan hadn't been there during your origin, but you survived anyways? At least for a time." Obviously the game couldn't go much into this, what with the whole, technological limits, thing. But I wanted to explore some options. Pink was originally inspired by being rejected by a RP Community, and Aeducan is homage to my DN playthrough. I hope you enjoy.

Hello. My name is... Inigo Montoya. You killed my fathe... No, really, my name is Danielle. Dani to basically everyone ever. I graduated in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking, focusing quite a bit in digital processes. I also have a Minor in Art History ranging from Egyptian up to Rococo. I like Baroque the best. This is all relevant because it had, in the last year, become entirely irrelevant. After a long trail of disappointment (we've all been there,) I'd all but given up on art and creativity as a whole. I settled into a pretty crummy place, sufficing with a part-time job and a boatload of bitterness.
Video games were all that really carried me through most of the time. I was fortunate enough to have a friend at Bioware, a real buddy in the SiMs department who hooked me up with a copy of Dragon Age. I think he paid full price for it and lied to me so that I wouldn't get upset that he spent money on me. But anyways, this game grabbed me like none had in a long time. Enough that I went to visit the website. And eventually I poked at the forums. Then eventually, Sresla slapped me upside the head with the motivation bat, and ... well, here I am. Now, i'm still pretty angry with about ninety percent of the things I draw and write. But this community and the friends I've made have brought me out of a pretty dismal place.
I'm even playing a Dragon Age Tabletop with some friends from around town. So, these fan-fictions, and this art, is dedicated to the friends i've made here and the people who have helped me move on.
