Sorry, I can't remember the last time I watched the original StarGate, let alone the different series.

Sad/dramatic music plays. Zoom in on the citadel surrounded by hundreds of shattered reaper and human/turian/etc. ships. The reapers have been defeated, but at a horrendous cost. Shepard and Anderson walk past the bodies of Shepard's team, the council, and countless husks and indoctrinated. Shepard hits the panel and ends the self-destruct sequence.
"We've won Anderson..." said Shepard, his backed turned.
Suddenly a shot rings out, Shepard collapses to his knees and Anderson walks in front of him, holding a pistol.
"May God have mercy on my soul Shepard." Anderson then shoots Shepard in the head.

The click of a lighter as a cigarette is lit. The Illusive Man walks into the light. "It needed to be done Anderson... He was too much of a risk to keep alive." Anderson and TIM walk over to the window and look out at the wreckage and fire. "Today dawns a new age my friend. A strong humanity led by strong leaders, the galaxy's greatest power."
"And we have one man to thank for that." Said Anderson as he looked back at Shepard's body.
Then the credits.

Shepard has, and has always, been blind. All this was in his head from a movie he watched called Alien vs. Predator. He realizes it's actually 2010 and he is the first one to build a mining base on Mars.

Yeah, that turned out better than it was supposed to be. But it is a pretty lousy possible ending for Shepard.

That, would just be horrible, seriously, Commander Shepard is too awesome to die. Also the dying for the greater good endings get annoying.

Well you can argue that TIM's new empire isn't exactly a greater good. Renegade Shepard should have the option to join him however!

Shepard dies half way through ME3 and you have to play the rest of the game as conrad verner.

Shepard's LI is torn to bit before his eyes by a creature which looks strangely like a Predator. After defeating it he is forced to be the new human councilor and is very bored.

[Tempest]

Shepard becomes the last survivor of his squad mates during a battle with the reapers.  With the explosion coming from the last reaper causes a dimensional rift that pulls Shepard in.

10 years later he is seen putting on a helmet in a transport shuttle with a Sargent telling him, "Good Luck with these  aliens Master Chief"

As the reapers close in on the galaxy (a la ME2 ending). Harbinger stops them and says:



"On second thought, let's not go to the Milky Way. 'Tis a silly place."



And they gallop off on sticks.

Rest of the game is Civ 6: mass effect. You build colonies, make trade agreements and probe planets for resources.



The end.

You fight a major epic battle with everyone in the Galaxy watching and beat the Reapers. Then in a meeting the Turian Council member says "Good job killing the Geth and stop pretending they were these Reapers things." All while making quotation marks with his fingers.

Damn nice, I aint going out like that though. I hope Harbinger takes Shepard and implants him with stuff so he can survive that shot lol.
