Do you have a well thought out, logical reason for the ME2 squadmates not to return (other than "They can all die") or are you just trying to spite people who enjoyed ME2?

Yeah, I support this too. Mass Effect 3 should be the epic conclusion, I would really rather not have to establish yet another foundation and get a new ship and new crew again.

Besides my Shepard and Ashley need a reuinion as does my Shepard with Wrex and indeed everyone from teams one and two. I reckon if I had both teams united combined with a few new faces, I would be unstoppable.



At the very least it would make for an awesome pool party.

The whole point of ME2 was finding the best and we did. I hated Miranda and only her; till she spat in TIM's face. I support the entire team returning with one side note: Jacob was weak in action yet still a good character. Improve Jacob a bit and bring em' all back.

Got the characters - shame not to use them.

Should some of them not be squadmates then i want them doing something really important and integral to the plot - Wrex uniting the Krogan is a good start especially if it pays off in ME3

The only member i do not expect to return as a squadmate is Wrex because of the unification thing but I could see him on the Normandy as a Liason, well Grunt can do this.



Any way I really hope BW does this because from the looks of it there is an overwhelming consencus that the community as a whole would like to see ME1/ME2 squadmembers as spuadmembers in ME3

I support this, with the caveot that I don't care at all about Kasumi and Zaeed-- they had interesting loyalty missions and some decent lines during missions, but no real dialogue= no characterization. I'd prefer for them to be replaced by a couple interesting new squadmates (I vote for Shiala as a possibility). And obviously I want Kaidan/Ashely and Liara too.

It would be pointless IMO to create more new characers when ME1 and ME2 have well over a dozen ones to put as squad mates and cameos....

 i'd support a mix. all remaining crew from ME 2 + Wrex  + kaiden/ashley.

no return of liara. perhaps shiala though.

I sort of hope its a Mortal Kombat Trilogy type a deal where all squadmates from all the games will be included, barring the ones that died or you killed when you played the first two games. It doesn't really matter to me if there is less dialogue with them as long as they are in your squad fighting for you. I think it would be fun trying different combinations, like Wrex and Grunt in a party or something. Plus I want to reunite my ME1 group, Ashley and Garrus.

Well, ME1 had 6 squadmates, with the guarentee of Alenko/Williams dying as well as the possibility of Wrex dying. ME2 had 12 squaddies, 2 coming back from the past game so 10 new ones anyway with the possibility of all of them dying. So you've got the 5 that survived through ME1 and up to 10 survivors of ME2 which adds up to only 15. That sounds like a lot but I'd assume you'd start with 2 people who either couldn't have died under any circumstances(only Liara/Virmire Survivor at this point) or 2 new guys.

Were I to guess I'd assume there'd be circumstantial squaddies, who would only be available if someone had died. I don't think it would be explicitly explained why they were helping you like "Oh, me and grunt had a few drinks..." more just a character that can fill a similar role without necessarily having a direct link. I'd think they'd push the number of new characters they'd add somewhere around 10-12 so that you aren't left with a Kaiden/Liara/Adept team that could get nothing done. Although I guess they could use the ME2 DLC squaddies if you never got them and just have a different meeting so they'd save money.

Really though, anyone who's importing a game with 2 surviving squaddies are just complicating Bioware's lives...

i support this! i even what jack and jacob and kaiden back even tho i dont use them at all but not wrex he play to big a role to reunite the krogans
