It is. From left to right: Grunt, Thane, Kaidan, Jacob, Zaeed, Mordin, Garrus, Wrex and Legion, then on the other side is Kasumi, Tali, Liara, Ash, Jack, Miranda and Samara.

Thanks! I didn't have any other suggestions for Zaeed, so I thought "why not?".

I'll start work on adding all the background choices to match the other banners

Favorite who is not my favorite love interest, easily Garrus. Why? He, like Tali, have been with Shepard the whole time, and he's Shepard's bud. He knows the big picture is to defeat the Reapers, and it shows. I can count on Garrus - even to the point where Shep is okay with luring someone out so Garrus can shoot him. And I tend to agree with most of what Garrus says, and renegaded him both times.

After that it's technically Mordin. Mordin's hilarious but also quite intelligent. He has a vibrant and interesting personality. It also helps that he gives Shep some medical advice for his/her love interest.

After that it's probably Kaidan. He's a level headed fellow and while I never really got the idea that MShepard was friends with him - at least on the same level as Garrus and Tali, he also feels like someone dependable. Having someone calm like that is nice to have. I also agree with his stance on aliens and the council, so having someone likeminded is also nice.

Tali and Garrus do indeed, together with Shepard, form a mighty Power Trio. And the fact that he is aware of the stakes is an important factor to that, I imagine.

I'll also agree that Mordin's one of my favorite party members. Not my favorite, but he's definitely up there. It took me a while to warm up to him though. I'd heard so much about how great he was that, when I first met him, I was kind of "Meh, guess he's an eccentric scientists with morally gray shades. Been there, done that." But after you do his loyalty mission? Damn does he open up as a character. Definitely is in my top 5.

I also think Kaidan is highly underrated as a party member. I genuinely miss having him around in the one save where I killed him off.

I'm finding it really hard to pick a favourite. So far I've got it down to Kasumi, Mordin, Wrex and Jack.

Kasumi is a cool character with a fun LM that is also very sad at the end. It's also nice to hear someone talk about the other crew members

Mordin is witty and intelligent and he makes you think. The choice in his LM was very hard, and I'm sure which choice I want to keep for my 'canon' choice.

Wrex was a permanent fixture on my squad in ME1. I love his banter and his attitude.

Jack is a deep, complex character, and I love her story. I just wiish that FemSheps could interact with her more.
 

Kasumi is indeed a blast to have around. It's too bad she doesn't have that much to say, but I knew that going in so I wasn't disappointed. Au contraire, she turned out to be much more interesting than I expected.

The thing I like best about Wrex is that he comes off initially as a tough, gruff brute, but when you get underneath his skin you discover he's a surprisingly moral and intelligent person. He's not just a careless killer who kills for the money. He's thought long and hard about a lot of things and his main sin is not so much cruelty or apathy but resignation... he's given up.

Of course, Shepard shows him better.

From a combat perspective, Kaidan (part tech, part bio) and Garrus (part tech, part combat) generally make more sense together than Tali (all tech, with a little combat) and Garrus, particularly if your Shep's a vanguard, as many's are.

Her dialogue's great, no one's denying that. And her side comments about your relationships are extremely heart-warming ("rainbows and butterflies" ). But she really does run out of things to say quickly.

Make no mistake, what's there is great. It's just that, like Zaeed, I wish there was more.
