Normally I wouldnt but I'm in a pissy mood right now at work and when I loaded the main page all but 2 threads on the entire first page were one of the many annoying various support threads.  I dont have a problem with people talking about their favorite character(s), but they need their own damn sub folder already.

I agree, actually. A sub-forum would be nice. But we don't have one.

This, though it may require resizing. Yours is better, IMHO, even though it's simpler because it includes both ME1 and ME2 characters.

Hmm...favourite squadmember who isn't my LI...

I'm gonna have to go with Garrus. He was my favourite character in ME1, due to the fact that he was the same class as me (Infiltrator), but also because he had an amazingly similar mindset to myself: I agreed with him that C-Sec should have destroyed Saleon's ship, and when we finally came across Saleon, I let Garrus do the killing himself. So, you can imagine how psyched I was when 'Archangel' was revealed. Not only had Garrus become Space Batman, he had become more awesome than ever.

He is the only character that I take with me on every single mission.

I also ended up using Garrus very frequently, though usually I try not to play favorites in my squad selection (though I will admit I used Tali and Legion together as a combo several times near the end of the game) as I feel like I've missed out when I don't use every party member.

But if I were to pick favorites, Garrus would definitely be at the top.

I do play favorites in my squad selection. I just use my favorite characters and nothing else, disregarding their combat abilities.

There are quite a lot of people who say that all you do in ME2 is assing around without a real purpose. I always answer: No, you fly around the galaxy, building the most badass team sentient life has to offer and destroy/repurpose an important enemy base of operations they could have used against us in the coming war.
So one of the main points in ME2 was building your team, and that's good, because I imagine you are going to need people who can kick some butt. So taking away all our squadies in ME3 would make me look back at ME2 with a raised eyebrow and ask myself the following question: What was the bloody point?

I'm not saying ME3 will be terrible without the old team. But it would waste a lot of potential. I still hope that BW held Liara and Kaiden/Ash back in ME2 so they could have their great comeback in ME3. As for Wrex. . . I would really love to have him back, but let's be fair: "I'm trying to unite my species and save them from extinction" is one of the more convincing excuses I have heard in my live.

Still, I'm afraid some of our squad members are not going to be in ME3. I guess that was part of the reason BW gave us so many squadies: Poke us a bit for reactions and see which of them the fans like most, so they can bring them back for the grand finale.

Oh, and I herby demand a *we're putting the band back together* dialogue option when you recruit one of your old squadies


Well, that was way too long. I won't ask you to suffer through my unbearable attempt to bring my point across in English, so let me just say: Yes, I want my squad back in ME3 and hope that BW will make it happen.

Just was in the Liara thread when I came across a notice of this group. My reaction is: Shepard is going to need every battle-hardened man and woman s/he can recruit, so I support this thread.



Besides, I think there needs to be some carry-over if all of your squad from ME 2 survived.

Hehe, on normal and veteran I also always choose my faves (Garrus/Grunt). On insanity however, I always leave Garrus on the Normandy. He's a little too suicidal on insanity, so I pick Miranda and Grunt.

Since between the two games, it's possible to kill almost any teammate you don't like, I don't see why anyone would *not* support this being implemented. Yeah, it would take up a lot of resources, but this is the final game of the trilogy, and it's time to go all out. It says a lot about these games that people care about the characters as much as they do, and bringing all of them back would honor that.

I'll admit I play favourites in my team, Tali and Garrus go with me everywhere, they synergize well and make a great team, even on insanity.



However as I ran down the list of my team mates I realized that every one brought something great to the team. Here's hoping to see them all back.

Welcome all! We are happy to have your support and I hope you enjoy your stay.

On a side note, regarding the group picture I'm going to ahead and unilaterally declare collider's picture the official picture for now unless we get at least four more submissions. If and when this happens, I'll put a poll and we'll let people vote on which picture they like best. In the meantime, we'll just stick with collider's pick.
