It's kind of strange but I don't think I've ever met anyone who was 'meh' about Teagan. They either love him to death (why isn't there a romance?!?!) or think he's having an affair with one of the most annoying characters in the game. I think some people actually feel it's both.

So what's the verdict? Which is he?

Teagan is the only one who manages to make the Bann title sound much more illustrious than it actually is.

Too true. But he may have just to add to his list. I wonder whose list is longer, Teagan or Maric? At least we know Maric wins the baby making contest. It's ironic that his sons have problems getting women pregnant.

I love how everyone (in-game and otherwise) just assumes that Anora is barren. No one says "Gee. Maybe the King is shootin' blanks!". Makes me wonder if Cailan does have a bastard or two that we don't know about >_>;;;



But, on topic, don't love Teagan but neither do I hate him. He's kinda cool and that's about it for me.

That's why I think neither of them can have kids. Cailan was cheating on Anora, so why doesn't he have a few bastards running around? And I have my own theories on Anora's barreness (lol).

I just assumed that Cailan was the infertile one all along, but nobody wanted to think that since he's the carrier of the Theirin bloodline, and if he's infertile, then no amount of wife changery would give Fereldan an heir.  Thus, Anora got scapegoated.

Back on topic: I'm sort of "meh" about Teagan.  He's not very appealing to me, but on the other hand, imagining him with Isolde... nobody deserves that.

Also "meh" about Teagan. I don't really get the Bann Sexy thing. He's alright - too good for Isolde, definitely. But his brother is an utter dickwad.

I'm generally meh about Teagan, too. He does seem to have a sincere, gentlemanly attractiveness to him, but, you know, so does Ser Perth and that templar(?) at the Lothering Chantry, among others, imo. Just because he and Isolde know each other doesn't mean they're sleeping together.
