Well of course they do. Dwarves are, by default, awesome. It's not the surfacer's fault that they are innately inferior beings, and can't run a war or a country worth ****.

To be fair, even the Dwarven Assembly was acting stupid during the first blight, until Aeducan decided to give them the middle finger and save their sorry asses by ignoring everything they tell him.

But at least he got rewarded with Paragonship.

Gustav III was awesome non the less. It isn't that unusual throughout history.

The key thing is: the Dwarves learned their lesson. And, the dwarves could be forgiven somewhat. They had no idea WTF was going on, where these darkspawn thingies came from, and just how grave the threat was.

But really, I really don't see the surface producing a leader as awesome as Bhelen anytime soon.

Yeah, just kiddin'. For example, Magnus III of Sweden gave women the right to inherit property among others. Pretty progressive at 1280 a.D.

Am I the only one who expects Celene to be just as awesome?

She can't be if she sounds anything like Isolde.

Yeah, cause the knowledge of Swedish kings is a lot more public. If you're not Swedish, Finnish Norwegian or Danish, chances are that you only heard of Gustav II Adolf, if anything.

Even further back, pre-Christian European "barbarians" pretty much had same rights as well.

I've got a man-crush on Teagan. The guy has the balls to call out Loghain in front of all the nobility after Ostagar. Because of his boldness, a lot of the Banns get to thinking maybe Loghain should go pound sand.

Furthermore, Teagan is wearing his armor at that meeting. It's like he was ready to give Loghain a beat down right there if necessary.

Based on his reaction to Isolde hiring Jowan and lying about Connor, I not only think he was NOT having an affair w Isolde, but he couldn't stand his sister-in-law even before the whole mess.

I don't think Teagan would do his brother dirty like that. He's a good man. Responsible, mature, moral. Plus he is the only Guerrin in the family who seems to actually have all his marbles. The rest I got my doubts about. He seems more annoyed/distrustful of Isolde than actually 'hubba hubba' over her.

For Isolde, she genuinely seems to love her husband. Bringing up his condition is the ONLY thing that makes a dent in her "Don't kill my Connor" mantra.

So no I don't think they did anything like that.

I tried for the Kaitlyn/Teagan epilogue but didn't get it.  So now I just give the sword back to the girl and her little brother. He grows up to be an adventurer using it and tells stories about how the Hero of Ferelden used his sword to save the village when he was a kid.  Much cooler card IMO Posted Image

Also trying for the Bella ending was a bust...and now I just leave her in charge of the Tavern and get that slide at the end too.

Teagan is much better spreading around the bannlove than just tying him to one wench anyway Posted Image

Yeah, I really like the Bevyn epilogue card, too! I just think it's so funny that he marries them both. I don't think anything could restrain Teagan from spreading around the bannlove, though... ;)

I just would like an option to bed Isolde like Gheyna or Lanaya... er wait that's my imagination again. I never had that much of a problem with her though I also always told her it was her own fault.

krasnoarmeets wrote...  Eamon suggests that Anora may be barren...

I reject this idea.  How would Eamon know?  I think there is more evidence to suggest that Cailan is homosexual than Anora is  barren.  Finally, out of the multitude of erroneous bartender rumors we are given people choose this one to think actually holds some merit?  I think it's much more likely that the Grey Wardens worship upon the altar of the Archdemon.

I think there is more evidence to suggest that Cailan is homosexual than Anora is barren.

What evidence is there for that? And even if he were, that wouldn't necessarily stop him from having children. There is just as much evidence that Cailan was the infertile one if not more due to his lack of bastards if Anora was telling the truth about his affairs but what makes you think he's gay? And it's not the bartender rumor people believe, it's the letter Eamon sent in RtO.

Personally I think her story of Cailan's women is a sympathy ploy to get the PC to empathize with her. It comes up if you suggest her and Alistair marrying and she is trying to cut you out of the picture so she controls "the figurehead". SO I take that little tidbit with a grain of salt. Some evidence in game that Cailan wasn't planning on displacing Anora

The crumpled state of the letter sent by Eamon.

Cailan doesn't want Eamon in Ostagar with him to deal with the blight even though troops are only a couple weeks away in Redcliffe.

Anora STILL hasn't done much by way of heir making with a PC king-consort.

Of course thats just my opinion and certainly a king who's queen isn't into acts of reproduction might find his comfort women elsewhere so not saying he WOULDN'T but there is just as much evidence to point to the opposite direction of the problem not being so much a matter of infertility as simply a lack of desire.

I thought the crumpled letter was the more personal note from Celene. At work so I can't check.

Also, <3 Teagan. *dreams of Alistair/Teagan sammich*

And how does Teagan marry Bella? I always get him to marry Kaitlyn.

I suspect it has more to do with whether you married Anora or not. If you did? she is as fertile as any other mare in the game. If you made a different choice? then maybe it comes out later in some way. As for Cailan being homosexual, he might as well be infertile too based on my toons conversation with Loghain in Vigil's Keep.   But of course the peasant girl gets falsely "blamed" for infertility, nobles have been mega lame like that in history.

I have yet to hear much about Cailan from Anora and I never saw a letter from Eamon in RtO.  Maybe this is because I went through it as a Male Human Noble.... however again, how is it that Eamon knows this? Loghain made a remark in Awakening about needing to knock Anora up. If Loghain thinks his daughter is fertile? I am willing to trust Loghain over some vague letter from Eamon in RtO

This is the first I have heard her name I think... but I will remember it. However I would rather there be certain "options" with Celene than there is with Bhelen... though in my game I eviscerated and decapitated him and while I am happy with that option... I would like something different with an Empress of Orlais.

You give her the 500 silver right?

And people say Eamon married way too young. Good lord, Kaitlyn is maybe 18? And Teagan is about 40? Talk about cradle robbing. XD
