Ok my download page has been trying to download the Feastday Pranks/Gifts for weeks and is stuck on 0%.  States that I need patch 1.03.  I had this patch installed before I spent my Bioware Points on the DLC.  I even tried re-installing the patch in the  hopes it would correct the issue.  Same. Cleared the Download Cache. Same.

I did notice that when I check the version information DAOriginsLaucher.exe is still v1.01 where all the others (ie DAOrigins.exe, etc) are at v1.03.  Could this be the problem and if it is how can I correct it? Or at least is it possible stopped the download attempt. I'm willing to lose the money I spent on those points just to clear this up.  I'm thinking about uninstalling and re-installing the game, but am afraid I might not be able to get the other DLC's re-installed if I do if there is something else that is causing the problem.

Any ideas?  Or suggestions on what I should sacrifice to the Little Gods of Technology to appease 'em?

Have you read this thread? http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613 Specifically, #0.1.5 which deals with your issue.

Yes I did. That's where I got the idea to clear the Download Cache. I still have the same problem.

As far as this goes: no, that's normal.  The launcher is really an entirely separate program and ultimately unecessary.  The game itself is completely unaware of it, and you could just run it directly if you wanted.  The launcher is just a convenience, with music and some DA-related banner ads.

Well, did you try the manual install option?

Here're the required files for the Feastday stuff:

Offer file for Feastday Gifts
Offer file for Feastday Pranks

Feastday Gifts
Feastday Pranks

BTW, you can find the download cache here:

C:\\ProgramData\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\DAUpdater\\

Even when stuff installs correctly, you can still end up with crap in the various subdirectories. I just checked, and I still had a nearly month-old copy of the Feastday Gifts package in there.

Thanks for the tips, didymost1120. I was finally able to get the Gifts installed, but Pranks still refuse to work with me. I'll try installing it manually again once I get some z's.

As for the download cache, I was unable to find DAUpdater the way that you described. Most likely due to me being on Windows 7. But I'll keep looking for it.

The path to the cache is the same in Windows 7. This forum puts extra \\\\ in to prevent problems here, so just look for the directory path didymost1120 posted.

Well, I'm on Win 7 too.  I wasn't telling you where to find the DAUpdater program, though.  That's just where the download cache is, so you can make sure it's clear or clean it out manually if it isn't.  The actual program is where Elps said.  I guess I was kinda vague, there.
