HOW? Jack told us how she got raped - and I don't get it. She's supposed to be the most powerful biotic in the universe, she defeats two YMIR mechs in front of you and yet somehow a bunch of guys from a local gang still managed to overpower her and rape her? The psychology of gangs and rape are far too complex to be summed up by "she's oh so powerful".
In many cases, the rape victim doesn't realize she got raped until after the fact.
Also, doesn't have to be physically forced, it can also be psychologically forced, forced through blackmail and extortion etc'

Also most "powers" need a visual to be directed...perhaps she was blind folded and couldn't see. Other possibility is that with time her powers became more powerful, maybe she wasn't as developed or hasn't learned to FULLY use her powers.

Also, Jack was probably given biotics-dampening drugs (among other drugs) while she was out of cryo to prevent from happening what happened during her recruitment mission.

Hey, this is Jack we're talking about, remember? Nutcase Serial Killer Space Chick With Childhood Trauma? I don't think she always had full control over her powers. Plus maybe she was (or had been) drugged, or simply tricked.

The impression I got was that several inmates attacked her at once and she killed a few before being overwhelmed. Purgatory isn't filled with choir boys. It's filled with some of the most dangerous criminals in the Terminus Systems. That said, I'm almost certain that they knocked her unconscious.

I imagine there was some coercion involved, not simple 'jump out from the bushes and pin her down and do the deed.' Because first of all that isn't really all that common, and second it wouldn't really work on Jack.

this is pretty much the impression that i got too; someone also mentioned biotic-supressing drugs.
so, (possibly)weakened biotics,**** load of really dangerous criminals,and the fact that frankly, convicts generally
don't get much "company" mean that things were NOT looking good for her, so...yeah:unsure:

I never understood that. It's something that actually happened to a character in the actual game, why is talking about it forbidden? The thread was a little distasteful, but no more than the actual scene itself (everyone else expresses an opinion or something like that in their dialog spots...Jack talks about being raped. If they didn't have ways of forcing her or keeping her under control, they'd never have been able to keep her locked up as long as they did. Let's not forget, after all, that she was a prisoner. Even biotics can be controlled and harnessed and she only ended up overcoming her captors because of the riot.
Powerful as Jack is, she isn't invincible.
There's also the matter that she may not have been as powerful at the time. She seems to have been developed over time.

Seven inmates apparently. Five were successful the other two were probably flayed alive with Jack's mind. All jokes aside, I thought Jack had the most attractive face in ME2. It's the tattoos that I couldn't stand. I don't care for tattoos on women and Jack is a walking mural.
