I have to admit I had a very bad first contact with
Awakening : my character decided to sacrifice himself at the end of the
main game, and when I import his save in Awkening, hello, he's the
freshest looking zombie you've ever seen.
What I would have expected is the game to
import all my choices (i.e. Anora is Queen, Ferelden mages are free from
Chantry supervision, more generally any choice from the main game with
consequences in awakening) BUT since my character is dead, make me play
with the new Orlesian Warden.
Since the game doesn't do that...
is there a mod for that? I've been trying to search the usual source (DA
nexus) with little luck. Barring this, how doable would making such a
mod be?
Basically, it would involve going with "New character"
BUT overriding situations decided in the main game with the ones from my
save.
Yes, that annoyed me so much I'd consider dabbling into
modding if it's not too complicated a project.

Not really doable until we have the Awakening resources to work with; even then, I don't really know how much of what a given character does in Origins is really relevant to Awakening, beyond who is King/Queen of Fereldon, especially for the Orlesian Origin..

Well, that's unfortunately what I expected, but thank you for confirming.
I guess I now just have to replay a new char who will live so that I can play Awakening without being disturbed by this huge nonsense.
