Some throwbacks to the Genesis this time.

Shining Force II - Wandering Warriors
Shining Force II - Lively Town (like one of the comments says, makes you feel like walking in place X))
Shining Force - Circus Tent
Shining Force II was my favorite RPG on the Genesis for a long time. Nothing I liked more than deliberating over every move without any twitch gameplay getting in the way. I played Shining Force (1) second, and had trouble getting used to the archaic AI compared to II (sometimes enemies wouldn't move to attack you even if you were only a square away from them). I badly wanted to play the follow-up to II that was on the ... mega CD? but never found the title in stores.

Breath of Fire III - Everyday Battle
Breath of Fire III - For The Dragons
Final Fantasy VII edges this out as my favorite PS RPG, but only just. Rei was just so cool the second time you get him.

SF II was awesome. I could spend days in my room subsiting off beer and playing that game.

@Himura - Yeah, that one. I didn't link that video because it's useless when you hear game noises constantly and have to deal with stopping and starting nonstop. I tried to find just the song for over thirty minutes before finally giving up. I even contemplated ripping it myself and uploading it to YouTube, but it wasn't worth the bother. Thanks for trying though.
